Undoubtedly the BEST VRBO we’ve ever rented. Absolutely delightful! Never wanted for anything. Beds/pillows/sheets/towels were sooo nice & comfy. Two suggestions - 1) put no-slip strips in the shower tub, and 2) put a no-slip rug inside the front door. Thank you! Good Job!

We enjoyed our stay on Main St. The home was cozy, in a walkable neighborhood. We had a glitch at check in, but the hosts were extremely responsive and apologetic, addressing the situation immediately. My son loved playing in the front yard and seeing the horse and buggies pass by. We would happily stay here again.

Lovely property, close to plenty of things to do! We enjoyed having 2 full bathrooms and ample bedrooms. We had a very enjoyable stay. Check in and check out couldn't have been easier! The only suggestions I would make would be to add some lamps to the corners of the living room for added ambiance and light, and maybe some fold up luggage racks in the main bedroom and hooks on bathroom/bedroom doors. None of these things affected our stay at all, it's a lovely place and we would gladly go back! Very charming and nicely decorated place. Plenty of linens and extra blankets and pillows, a washer and dryer, dishwasher. It had everything we needed. Thanks so much for the hospitality!!

We had a nice stay in Middlebury. We are 3 senior aged ladies. Loved the quaint, freshly remodeled look inside the place. The home was very clean . Great way to enjoy time with friends and be comfortable in a home. Comfortable beds and all rooms have a ceiling fan. Location is perfect to explore Middlebury and Shipshewana. Would definately stay here again. Thanks for sharing your home

Very cute, comfortable, sparkling clean, well appointed house. Recently updated (great beds) and close to restaurants. We stayed one night to check out Shipshewana Christmas shopping and go to a concert which was 15 min away…this was the perfect location for us.

The house was easy to check in and get unpacked. The rooms were very clean -but the outside could use a little LLC.. for the most part we had what we needed. The host was helpful and although didn’t respond quickly- responded to our questions within a day. The property is very close ( walking distance) to a couple restaurants and businesses. Directly on Main Street so parking was a bit tricky because traffic is pretty busy at all hours-the kids liked waving at all the buggies passing by! I would suggest backing in if you can so it’s easier to get out. The listing advertised a washer & dryer but although the listing said they had detergent - when I asked where to find it I was told they do not supply it so bring yours if you plan to wash.. we had a comfortable stay.

This space truly is a cozy cottage. The owner/manager was very thoughtful in the setting up. Everything we needed and MORE! The young adults really loved the bowling/entertainment area in the basement. The beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay again! The main road provides an opportunity to watch and hear the clacking of the horse and buggies going by. I bet it is beautiful in the fall! You won’t regret staying here.

We are four senior cousins who met for 2 nights at The Cozy Cottage. Access to the home was easy, and the space was exceptionally clean and bright ... with plenty of space to catch up and a large dining room table to play board games. After spending long hours walking around Shipshewana, we so appreciated the comfortable beds at the end of the day. There were no outdoor chairs in the backyard. Also there were bugs in the microwave and ants throughout the house. It was a nice house but the cleanliness was not top notch. A suggestion would be if the owners could leave a list of local places to eat and shop plus a place for buying groceries. Thank you.

My vacation party went from 5 people to 2; so one befroom and the extra living space/ game room was not used! However it was big enough to have a larger party where no one would have felt cramped! Since it was just me and my adult grandsons, we ate out every meal; however all of the utensils, pots and pans, dishes, etc., we're there- along with an ice maker. We did use the washer/dryer which saved me from doing laundry when I got home!The house was furnished well, and very comfortable! I would love to live there! The location was great! It was easy to find, close to everything, and even walking distance to some restaurants. My grandson ordered a pizza from Danny's and then walked down the street to pick it up! Very convenient! I love staying in vacation homes as my grandsons are adults, they dont want to share bedrooms and spaces with grandma! This home allowed us to spread out, be together if we wanted, or apart if we wanted to be alone! We loved our stay here and would love to come back, stay here, and see more of the town. We visited Shipshawana, Elkhart, Goshen, most all of the notable Amish restaurants, and of course the huge flea market and antiques stores. My opinion, skip the flea market and visit the unique stores in Shipshawana and Middlebury instead! I was disappointed in the offerings for antiques at the flea market. If you are an antique hunter, you need to skip the "fleas"- which is mostly Chinese or low grade junk.
