This is a beautiful property - safe, gated, perfect for a family get away. Nestled at the Uwharrie Mountains, you get the best of mountain scenery at the lake, both at the same time!
There is no joy stealing intended (we are talking common sense), but the partying rule and quiet hours from 10pm-7am are strictly enforced. We ask that you respect the neighbors and keep noise levels down. This is a quiet residential neighborhood and homes are fairly close to one another. Again, Absolutely no parties or events!
PETS:
2 maximum, no aggressive breeds (e.g. all pit breeds, rottweilers), no oversized dogs (e.g. Alaskan malamutes, bull mastiffs, etc.). We have 2 Samoyeds (think husky) for reference. We'll ask for type and size upon booking. Dogs will have access to yard (not fenced) and all areas but cannot run free in the neighborhood (leash rule applies).
2 dog crates, if needed, are set up in the heated/conditioned garage/game room. We also provide dog bowls, poop bags and receptacle in the back yard.
*We charge a $25 per pet per night fee to cover incidentals and extra cleaning.

Spacious indoor/outdoor areas with plenty of seating and entertaining space, hot tub.
Putters and golf balls onsite to take advantage of putting green
*Private pier with dock, rent watercraft or bring your own, inquire via app with questions about what we have, rates, waivers/rules, etc.
*Walking to the dock involves moderate terrain (see pics of path and steps to get to dock). Young children and older adults (or anyone with limited mobility) may need assistance subject to guest discretion.

However, please note that due to our RURAL location and proximity to water (and like many homes in the area), visits from wild life, bugs, insects—such as ants, spiders, or May Flies—can happen, especially during warmer months. There will be no refunds or discounts given for this reason.
We have regular pest control services and do our best to prevent unwanted guests, but we kindly ask for your understanding if you see a bug or two during your stay. It’s part of the natural surroundings here. PLEASE KEEP DOORS AND WINDOWS CLOSED as much as you can!

Driveway is a little steep with a sharp turn but no cars have had issues accessing to date.
Property and dock are accessible by water from Pebble Beach public access (and other public access areas). Note, larger parts of the lake may be inaccessible on pontoon boats from this location due the need to cross under railroad trellis bridge shown in pics...it all depends on time of year and water levels. This does not impact ability to ski, tube, have fun on the water, just means you may not be able to access ALL parts of the lake.
