Dieses Haus ist völlig neu auf der Innenseite mit allen festen Parkettböden, benutzerdefinierte Bäder und Küche ganz. Drei erstaunliche Entscheidungen zum Essen. Genießen Sie das klimatisierte Speisesaal, abgeschirmt in Veranda oder auf der Außenterrasse !! Das Wetter wird Ihren Urlaub nicht ein bisschen verlangsamen! Das Haus befindet sich auf 3 private Hektar, die vorwiegend auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite vom See und Light House Yachthafen bewaldet ist. Es gibt 4 Schlafzimmer mit brandneuen Luxus-Kissen Matratze auf die beiden Queen-Betten, 6 Personen mit zwei Bäder. Es gibt 2 Königinnen und drei Einzelbetten. Das Haus hat eine moderne Küche mit Edelstahl-Geräten und Granit-Arbeitsplatten. Die Küche und das Esszimmer sind für bis zu 6 Personen geeignet. Es gibt Wäscherei im Haus.

Great place

Lovely place to stay. Clean & spacious. Host was VERY responsive & helpful. I would have appreciated the snow being cleared, but overall lovely stay. Bring extra blankets, kitchen towels & pot holders.

PA Getaway

This is our 2nd time renting a VRBO home for vacation. It suits us so much better than a hotel, because we don’t like having to eat out 3 meals a day for a week, and it’s so much nicer to relax and unwind in a house after a day of activities. This house is spacious, and clean, with many places to hang out. We barbecued on the outside deck, had a big pancake breakfast in the screened in porch, watched a couple movies in the cozy living room, and cooked many meals in the kitchen. Loved seeing the deer every morning and evening!! The keypad lock was so convenient, with 4 of us coming and going, and not having to worry about getting locked out and keeping track of keys! My “kids” (19 & 20) walked down to the lake at LEAST twice a day. You can’t see the lake from the house but it’s literally like a three minute walk. The only slightly negative thing I have to comment on is that several of the reviews said the house was quiet and secluded. The house is set back a bit, but it is on 507 which I would consider a main road for that area and you can definitely hear the traffic noise, when you’re outside, and on the screened in porch. The other houses are not too close, but you can see them, and I don’t categorize that as secluded. I joked that maybe the people that considered it quiet and secluded were from Manhattan😋 Overall, great house, beautiful area and a lovely vacation. This family of Long Islanders thoroughly enjoyed Pennsylvania!

Property was nicely remodeled. Central air was a nice surprise that we used it one day. It was 90 degrees when we came back from the boat we had at one of the marinas and put it on 75. It cooled the house House is across the street from Lighthouse Harbour Marina. Everything worked fine. If you want to cook a lot you may want to bring your own sauté pans and pots as there is one 8” at the house. It’s enough for frying eggs or sautéing something small, but if you’re into cooking a full meal bring your own. Thumbs up from my Wife and son so it must be approved because they are tough critics.

Nice base for visiting Lake Wallenpaupack

Nice, clean, updated house. Depending on the weather, you can take your meals in the dining area next to the kitchen, on the screened in deck, or out on the open air deck. Note that the house is across the road from the lake, so no lake view if that is important to you. Maybe in Wintertime, you can see it IDK. Property owner was very quick to respond to questions.

Nice Vacation House!

Clean and very well equipped home with a nice open layout that was conducive to family interaction! Our three 20-something-year-old “kids” loved hanging out - even with their Mom and Dad. With one TV in the living room, we all enjoyed watching together - a rarity in our multi-screen (and social media hooked) family. Thanks to the owner’s Netflix account, we got to binge watch “The Office” in between activities at the lake and the surrounding area. One of our favorite activities (in addition to golf and kayaking) was hiking at Bushkill Falls. At the house, we played games and kept a jigsaw puzzle going on the great screened in porch. Cooking in the kitchen or on the grill was easy! For dining out, both The Dock and The Boat House provided delicious meals and fun nights out for our crew. Brian, the property owner, was always just a text away to check in with us or answer a question.

Excellent Rental

This was the cleanest property I have ever stayed in. The home is beautifully decorated and stocked with everthing you would need. Bring food and never leave!! Home is quiet and secluded. The location is great for hiking to waterfalls or a day trip to New York City! Communication with owner was excellent both before and during the stay. Would definitely book again!

very nice and peaceful

the house was very well kept and clean, exactly as described. I met Brian the owner when he came by to take care of the couple of inches of snow we got overnight, very pleasant and friendly. I would definitely recommend staying at this house for a nice quiet get away which is exactly what we were looking for.

Lovely visit

Wonderful, clean house. Master bedroom has a great window view. Key code access is so much easier than worrying about losing a key. WiFi worked great. And I had good cell service, which can be iffy in the mountains. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful and comfortable

My friend and I had a lovely time while staying in Brian's house. It is beautifully appointed with high end appliances and welcoming touches. The house is secluded but yet a quick drive to stores in case you forgot to pack something. There were only two of us, but you could comfortably have 7 people enjoy a great time. Brian is awesome with communication. Don't pass this one by.

Could not have asked for a better experience.

This was the first time I have used Home Away / booked a trip by staying at someone's house. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Brian is very responsive and answered all my questions without hesitation. The house itself is very nice and the pictures do not do it justice. The house was very clean and organized upon our arrival. The whole house, but specifically the main floor, is very spacious and has an open lay out. This makes hanging out with your fellow guests much more enjoyable because everyone can socialize in one place. We cooked and grilled most of the weekend. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a good meal. All of the appliances were clean and pretty new. The beds and couches are very comfortable. The screened in porch was the icing on the cake. We stayed 5/4 - 5/6/18 so it got a little cool at night. However, being in the screened in porch cut down on the breeze and made it comfortable to stay outside. There are some neighbors but they are not right on top of you and there are trees in between, so you can still have your privacy. I usually never write reviews, but considering how well it went, I have to give credit where it is due. Overall, would definitely go back and highly recommend it. Thanks Brian!
