Great property in an easy to access location. We could walk everywhere very easily. The only negative was no air conditioner and it got hot in the bedrooms even with the windows open.

Mason, thank you for staying at Casa Galena! As you may know, the vast majority of homes in Mountain Village and Telluride have no air conditioning. At Casa Galena, the bottom floor has three bedrooms and they are always good sleeping temperatures. On the top floor, hopefully you had fans in the windows because that's how we set them up prior to guests arriving. This is the first concern we've had regarding temperatures with hundreds of rentals at Casa Galena. When you were here it was getting down to the high 40's at night. We always suggest when in the evening to put a fan in the window or open the veranda door to move the cool air in. If you are thinking about returning we will have a $400 restaurant gift certificate for you at your favorite restaurant. Thank you.

The home was very nice and spacious. We did have some difficulty regulating the heat. Even though we had it turned off it was still very warm especially in the lower rooms. The property managers were very responsive. Over all a great place.

Great house in a great location

Very spacious, clean, comfortable house near bars, restaurants and the gondola. We enjoyed the hot tub, and we had plenty of space for our stay for the Blues and Brews Festival. The owner personally met us for check-in and helped us find a place for our third vehicle, as well as show us around the property.

Summer Sisters

Six best friends in our sixties had a fantastic week hiking, rafting, jeep riding to Imogene Pass, visiting Durango, and Wagon Ride to Dinner and Zip-Lining with delicious meals and lots of delicious wine surrounding buy the most gorgeous surroundings ever. The condo was perfect in every way. Extremely comfortable, clean and easy walking distance to the center of Mountain Village. Kimberly was there in a split second for any of our needs. The perfect place for a perfect active vacation!!!

Property was as described, even had humidifiers in all rooms. Glad to have washing machines at the ready too. I think everyone made use of the hot tub and the kids loved the "game room" (with murphy bed) just off the main living area. We drove in to Mtn Village and brought in our groceries, and this time we didn't leave any time to explore the village, however we enjoyed the lunch spots in Telluride and of course the skiing! Grocery delivery is $$ as one might imagine being on the mountain so try to avoid that if you can. Peter (property manager) met us at the garage for check-in like last time and was immediately available for us the whole trip.We certainly recommend Casa Galena to our friends and plan to be back!

Absolutely Fantastic!

Wow what an incredible property. We are "veteran" renters from VRBO and have never stayed in a place this beautiful. I've read things like "top of the line" before but this one truly is -- the home itself is spectacular with incredible attention to detail on woodwork, the doors, flooring, bathroom finishes and the kitchen - wow! Anything you could think of is in this kitchen -- and the deck with a Viking grill! Then there is the furniture -- mountain themed and comfortable and elegant. Finish it off with the "little things" which make this property truly special - the bedding on every single bed, the pillows, the towels, the bathroom amenities, the massive bar set up, board and card games for kids young and old, etc. etc. Add all of this on top of ski-in / ski-out and the location in the area and it's in a class by itself. In all my years of renting VRBO properties I have never written a single review. This experience was so unique, so perfect for our group (three families with kids ranging from 5-10) I just had to write one. Pam and the team that supported our arrival and departure (AND helped us with our bags!!) made it an experience of a lifetime! A must-visit town and a must-rent property!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not only was this property incredible in every way, but so was the property management company! We had a group of 8 adults - plenty of room for everyone! Definitely could have fit another couple comfortably. This property is truly ski in/ski out right at lift 4. Plus a quick walk to the gondola to head to town. Truly no better location than this! The property was very clean, super comfortable furnishings, and kitchen and bar were fully stocked! Kimberly and Peter were so accommodating in every way. The dishwasher was unfortunately broken during our stay, but Kimberly came every day to hand wash the dishes and put them away! When our flight was cancelled, Peter saved the day and drove us to pick up a rental car. They were available 24/7 and treated us with true white glove service. We will definitely be back to Telluride and Casa Galena!
