Perfekte Lage für Outdoor-Aktivitäten! Auf der anderen Straßenseite liegt Crystal Lake. Tippy Dam ist eine kurze Fahrt. Es gibt viele Schneemobilwege, die durch und um Wellston verlaufen. Das Caberfae Peaks Ski und Golf Resort ist nur 20 Minuten entfernt. Eingebettet zwischen Cadillac und Manistee bietet dieses gemütliche Cottage Platz für acht Personen. Es gibt zwei Etagenbetten, ein Queensize-Bett und ein Ausziehsofa. Highspeed-WLAN-Internetzugang und einfaches Kabel. Viel Stauraum für Ihre Ausrüstung im trockenen Keller. 2 Kajaks und ein Paddelboot sind vorhanden. Gut ausgestattete Küche mit Kaffeemaschine, elektrischem Grill, Toaster, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler usw. Die vordere Terrasse eignet sich hervorragend zum Grillen oder um einfach den Blick auf den Crystal Lake zu genießen!

Nice little place.

We enjoyed our stay. We all loved the paddle boat. All enjoyed the Kayak's and beach. Nice slow traffic street and quiet neighborhood. Parks were close by.

Comfy, clean home in a great location.

I stay in Wellston a couple of times each summer and this home is now my favorite. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable living room seating and deck. The house is across the street from the lake and beach which I loved. Waking up to the fog on the lake was so peaceful and I could walk my dog around the lake multiple times a day. If you love the north woods, this home is for you.

Had a Great stay!

Great view of the lake!

We loved our stay! Sarah was awesome. House was clean with tons of extras for the whole family. It was so nice to be able to let kiddos play on the swings and beach and still keep an eye on them. Perfect for families. I'm hoping we can get the time off to stay again!

Great family weekend

The place was as advertised. Perfect spot for a small family to be able to stay comfortably. Neighbors welcomed us and were friendly, which is nice because the places are close together. Lots of water activities right across the street and many other things to do within a short distance in all directions. Would recommended to family and friends to stay here. Thanks for being great hosts and allowing us to “move in” for a few days!

Last minute ski weekend

Property was exactly what we needed for our last minute ski trip to Caberfae. The mountain was only a 15-20 minute drive from the location. Being able to bring out dog was a bonus. Communication was easy. We even considered skiing Sunday morning before heading back and asked for a late check out so the dog had a place to be warm before we left. Our host had zero issues with this, even though we changed our minds in the morning. Great experience, would definitely book again.

Cabin in Wellston

Our stay in Wellston was wonderful! The access to temperature control was a necessity for us since we have an infant, so the upgrades to the property were very useful. The cabin had all of the kitchen appliances and utensils plus more as well as the bedrooms and bathroom. If you need extra space for storage there is plenty in the basement as well. The lake (and small beach) were right across the street with the nearby Dublin store only a few minutes away to get any forgotten items. The store is also a jerky lovers dream.

Perfect location for Secluded family getaway

This cute home makes great use of space, has a well-stocked kitchen, and is amazingly located - close to ski resorts, close enough to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and state and national parks with hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, right by snowmobile trails, and maybe most importantly right across from a tiny lake with a public beach and non-motorized boat access directly across the street. We set up our ice shanty and went ice fishing over our stay (no luck unfortunately.) The owners responded to messages quickly and kindly. We're going back for a summer trip next!

Vacation 2023

We had a great Vacation at this home. They had everything we needed except food which is normal. The beach is across the street, about a 2 minute walk from the house. They even had firewood in the shed, which we didn’t realize until we bought our own cuz we didn’t think to check first LOL! We left our leftover firewood for the next guests and a couple things in the fridge and cupboards :)

Such a beautiful quiet neighborhood

It’s just a nice little house on a public swimming lake. The host provided every amenity you could want, Kureig machine was a plus! Even had cups. Bring cream and sugar. You must provide tolietries and food but it was lovely and well worth the money. Nothing fancy and everything you need to cook meals. Don’t expect it to be but inside it’s quaint and cute. We just loved it and spent most of our time there. Treat it as your own but be respectful and clean up after yourself. Five stars from us.

Winter getaway

The house was great for our needs. Very clean and neat. Simple but well-appointed. We came in the winter so didn’t use many of the provided supplies but looks like it would be great for summer too. Nice storage for gear which was great. My only complaint was that the walk and entry weren’t cleared of approximately 8” of snow so initial entry into the home was challenging. We shoveled off the porch and stairs ourselves and it was great after that. We would love to stay again.

Absolutely Perfect!

My husband and I stayed at your lovely Lake Front Home for a much needed quiet, romantic get-away on a small secluded, spring-fed Beautiful Lake. Our expectations were blown away on this property! Sarah thought of EVERY detail and convenience. You do not need to bring anything...We felt "At Home" immediately. This home is perfect for a romantic get-away! Quiet, serene lake and Beautiful Beach! We were so glad Sarah included Ideas to go check out local surroundings! We did exactly that. If there is anything you need, their is a Meijer within about a 15 minute drive on your way to Manistee! You must go into Manistee..Lots of great shops, Wine tasting, Bars, etc. If you like organic, non-gmo, gluten free, vegan, etc.you will find any of the items you may want or need at the Port City Organics Real Food Market! It is wonderful! We also went to the Beatiful secluded beach on Lake Michigan in Manistee-(North Beach Access)Where: North end of Washington St. in Manistee.Insider info: A great spot for enjoying a long walk on the beach with your four-legged friend. This beach is geared toward pets and is generally secluded except during holidays and peak season weekends. There were only 2 other couples and 2 furry friends there as well as my husband and I! If you are like us and like excellent food in a fine dining setting with the option to sit out side casual on a wonderful deck with a Georgous view, Blue Fish Restaurant is the place to have dinner! It was so wonderful, we went back the second evening! My husband had the bone-in Pork chop, and I had the Salmon..fabulous! (I packed all our food but didn't cook dinner was so great there!) Another spot we enjoyed was the Tippy Dam Recreation is wonderful to launch Kayaks or small fishing boats! We wish we would of been able to stay longer than 2 days! So much we still wanted to see and Do! Next time for sure! We will be back! Also, Sarah is such a wonderful host-person. I accidentally left my dog Jax's insulin in the fridge and didn't realize until we were home-4 hrs away. Sarah immediately made arrangements to have a family member drive over 45 miles to get there, package it and overnight it to me! Very much appreciated! Thank you again Sarah!

Plenty of room for six

We stayed here as our base to fish the Manistee River. Everything was very clean and it worked great for us. The driveway is plenty long to park a few cars and a boat. Having a basement to store a few extra items was helpful too.

Weekend Stay

It was a fine place to stay for a short weekend. Park across the street was nice to allow our dog to run/use the bathroom. Water does have the sulfur smell as mentioned in previous posts. House was mostly clean - shower curtain liner could be replaced. Close to Manistee for places to eat out and hiking trails. Overall, fair place to stay.

Great Location

This place was perfect for our family reunion, with family staying in several cabins in the area. The view from the porch looking over the lake was great. The amenities for enjoying the lake were a plus. The cabin had everything that was needed to make the stay comfortable.
