The Stair House

The recently completed Stair House is the second of three adjacent houses in the 'Triptych in Time' piece by Mark deJong. To the left is the Swing House, the first completed, and to the right is the currently being-worked-on Smoke House. Experience living in, thus activating, a work of art. Just 2.5 miles from downtown.
The space
The main space has three sets of stairs, a custom sofa faces an armoire with a tv. Beyond the main space on the first floor is the kitchen, a dining space with table, and the half bath. Take the spiral stairs to the bedroom and the full bath.
Guest access
You’ll have full access to the interior and the exterior.
Other things to note
-We do not allow parties, events, or commercial photography. Again, the space as art, is activated with the stay of one or two guests. Personal photographs and sharing on personal social media is okay.
-There are a few stairs to enter and exit the house.
-The open space design produces unique effects in terms of lighting, sound and perception.
-Parking is available on the street, usually right out front.
-The kitchen is functional but not ideal for complex cooking, There isn’t an oven, and the fridge/freezer is small.
-Filtered water, coffee, tea, almond milk and oatmeal are provided.
