We had a wonderful time during our visit, and the location was perfect for getting to everything we needed. We felt safe walking around, easily found parking for my car, and really appreciated how clean, well-kept, and beautifully furnished the apartment was. This place was so bad we left early. It’s not even close to 15 minutes to Manhattan. More like 25 or 30 and that’s if the trains are running on time and you rush to the station. The bedroom is a cave with no windows. So if it’s hot good luck getting air from a window or the ac unit which is next to the one window that’s down a hall in the next room. And since it’s steam heat with no thermostat it’s hot even in the winter. And no smoke detectors (at least during our stay). So basically a death trap with no alarm and no windows in the bedroom to get out of. Clearly the renovation was done by amateurs without any permit as no inspector would allow a sleeping area without a smoke detector. I wasn’t about to put my family in that situation for a second night.

This place worked out so well for us. We were visiting our son and his wife abd new baby and could walk. We woukd for sure stay here again and the hostess extremely responsive And helpful. I just have some feedback:. Leave more towels and maybe extra set of sheets for people staying for a week. We asked and some were sent over.. Bathroom needs some hooks. Places to hang clothes and towels so we don’t have to put in sink or on floor.. Bathroom door does not fit properly and will not close. Needs to be fixed. Otherwise loved it. Super spacious and bed comfortable! Thank you!
