Step onto your private deck, complete with cozy outdoor seating and a BBQ area ideal for family cookouts. Inhale the fresh, crisp air and marvel at the uninterrupted views of the mesmerizing surrounding landscape.

Inside, an inviting open-concept layout awaits, featuring a luxurious king-sized bed and two convertible futon couches, making it an idyllic accommodation for up to four people. The living area exudes a warm, inviting ambiance, with a gas fireplace and a smart TV equipped with Roku, while high-speed WiFi ensures you stay connected.

The cabin is complete with a fully-equipped kitchen, boasting a gas stove, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher, allowing you the option to prepare meals with ease. Retreat to the shared hot tub after a day of exploration, indulging in a relaxing soak under the twinkling stars.

Outside, a myriad of nature`s wonders lie at your doorstep. Explore our private beach at low tide, or embark on bird watching adventures, with one guest spotting 31 species along our shoreline! When the tide is high, look out for seals and sea lions frolicking in the water.

Venture further afield to Ucluelet to enjoy a wealth of thrilling outdoor activities such as stand-up paddle boarding, surfing, bear and whale-watching tours, or simply take leisurely strolls and immerse yourself in the tranquil setting.

A vehicle is recommended for getting around, but bike rides are also an option. Please note that double occupancy reservations are for the king bed only, and other beds are available by request.

Quiet time 10pm to 8am
We expected our guests to behave in a civilized manner and to be good neighbors with other guests.
If your actions disrupt the enjoyment of any of our other guest, you could be financially responsible for the cost of their nights stay. As well you could be asked to leave the property with no refund.

Self Check in is after 4pm, with NO early check-ins. Please respect quiet time hours by keeping noise to a minimum.

We do not allow the use of open flame appliances on our property. This includes the use of candles inside or outside the accommodation.

Check out: wash, clean, dry and put away all kitchen items that you use during your stay. Clean up any cooking messes (stove, oven, microwave etc). If you prefer that we complete check out tasks for you, we charge our cleaning fee rate of $50/hour. No late check-outs please.

Carolyn`s Cove is a registered accommodation provider. We want to let potential guests know that you will be visiting our Home on the ocean, which we are choosing to share with you. We want you to have an truly enjoyable visit while remembering to respect our property.

When you book with Carolyn`s Cove, You (the Guest) agree to the following Rental Agreement,

Registered Guests
Only REGISTERED guests over the age of 10 are permitted to be on the Property and to use amenities owned and provided by Carolyn’s Cove. Unregistered guests found on the property will be asked to leave immediately, and further, registered guests found to be in contravention of this agreement may be asked to leave immediately with no refund of the reservation.

Damage Policy
The person making and paying for the rental of the accommodation is financially responsible for the cost of repairs arising from any damage beyond normal wear and tear including but not limited to carpet/floor stains, interior wall damage, appliance repairs arising from improper use, window and window covering damage, permanent linen stains, dry cleaning costs associated with stains, breakage, theft and any other damage noted on departure incurred, sustained or brought by any person occupying or using the accommodation. Any theft, lost items, excessive wear and tear, or damage will be charged to the reservation holder. As the reservation holder you are agreeing to be the person financially responsible for the rental, and any costs incurred by you or your guests and give Carolyn`s Cove full authority to charge the Credit Card number given at time of booking. Carolyn`s Cove has the right to charge your credit card in advance of repairs being completed and will refund the difference once any of the listed reasons above as been completed.

Keys
You are required to return all sets of keys provided by leaving them cabin upon checkout. There will be a $25 charge to replace any lost keys.

Septic System
ONLY human waste and the toilet paper provided are to be flushed. No food scrapes or other items are to be washed down the sinks. Drain stoppers in the showers and tubs are to be used at all times to protect hair and other foreign objects from entering the system. Violators of this house rule may be subject to charges to have the tank emptied.

GARBAGE/RECYCLING: guests on the property are required to seperate garbage from recycling and compost material. Information is provided in the accommodation. If you prefer that we complete this task for you after check out, we charge our cleaing fee rate of $50/hour.

Smoking & Vaping
For your health and enjoyment, our property is non-smoking/vaping. This is a zero tollerance rule. IF we find that you or any member of you group has been smoking/vaping anything on our property, you will be asked to leave the premises immediately with no refund.

Hot tub(s)
Accepting this reservation means that the use of the hot tub provided on the property is at your own risk. The hot tub is checked before and after your use to inspect the condition of the tub and the water. Absolutely NO food or drink is allowed in or around the hot tub. Our hot tubs are located within viewing of other guest, therefore there is absolutely NO Nudity or Sex allowed in public areas including the hot tubs. Failure to comply and you will be asked to leave with no refund. Please be sure to shower before using the hot tub to remove lotions, body oils, perspiration etc. We require a seperate swim suit for use in the hot tub which must be clean and are not to be used for anything else (tanning, on the beach or in any other bodies of water). If the hot tub is required to be drained after your use, or extra cleaning is required, or for any reason whereby Carolyn`s Cove feels the cleanliness of the hot tub is not up to standard for its next guest, you will be charged for the nightly reservation for any guests that can`t use it or to cover cleaning expenses at our hourly cleaning rate. Further you are financially responsible for any damage to the hot tub including repair and/or damaged or missing parts due to misuse. Only registered guests over the age of 13 years are permitted to use the hot tub(s). Use is by appointment. Only used large patterned towels with the hot-tub. The chlorine will ruin our bath linens.

Lost or Missing Items
Carolyn`s Cove is not responsible for any personal items left behind on departure and will hold items for 2 weeks after departure. Items left behind will upon request be returned by mail COD or by other means as requested for the cost associated with returning the item, as well as a $10 handling fee.

Please note:
1. you may find the occasional bug or spider in the accommodation as we live near water in the rainforest,
2. Hot tub use is not guaranteed during your stay due to unforseen circumstances including but not limited to repairs and maintenance. Use is by appointment only.
3. Due to Ucluelet`s remote location, there could be a disruption of power which could also affect water supply. There are no refunds for disruptions less than 24 hours in duration.
4. Due to unforseen circumstances, not all amenities are guaranteed to be available during your stay.
5. Our property is protected with outside security cameras at all entrances, public areas and over hot tubs.

Limitation of Liability
Carolyn`s Cove will make every effort to ensure that the accommodation provided as described for the time reserved, or to provide alternate equivalent accommodation. Carolyn`s Cove cannot guarantee that the accommodation will be available as reserved, as there are matters beyond its control including but not limited to loss of the accommodation by fire, flood, earthquake, tsunami, or other damage, changes of ownership, changes in the law, or seizure or other loss of the accommodation property. Beyond a refund of all the payments made, Carolyn`s Cove and it owners assumes no responsibility or liability arising out of the accommodation not being available or suitable. Carolyn`s Cove and it owners assumes no responsibility or liability for injury or damage arising out of the use or occupation of the accommodation. In agreeing to terms and conditions within this agreement you are hereby removing Carolyn`s Cove B&B and its owners of any liabilities resulting from any amenities/liabilities such as tubs, hot-tubs, decks, slippery surfaces, beach front accommodations, ice and fire pit. Please use tubs, hot-tubs, beaches, BBQ’s and fire pit at your own risk, and please ensure children of all ages are closely monitored at all times. Carolyn`s Cove reserves the right to cancel bookings for reasons beyond our control. Such as but not limited to, damage to the property or premises, floods, earthquakes or other natural disasters/events. Please note refunds will not be given for bad weather.

Relocation
Carolyn`s Cove reserves the right to transfer a guest’s stay to an alternative equivalent accommodation on site. In the event there is no accommodation available we will refund the reservation holder for their reservation. We are not responsible for any costs, travel or otherwise associated to the termination of a reservation.
