A great place to stay in the West End and perfect for a pet barely 2 blocks fromHanes Park with walking trails for the dog to stretch her legs. Very walkable to several West End cafes/bars (like the Remedy and the Tap Room) as well as to many great options on 4th St. (Moselle’s, Bernadine’s, Joyner’s Lounge. Very comfortable on aQuiet street in a beautiful, historic neighborhood. Our host )Shamonda) met us for checks in and showed us around; she even left a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. We plan to go back there again!

The property was very clean.We did enjoy this stay, but some small things would've made it better. For example, a mirror in the bedroom would be nice and some coasters for drinks and a small table and chairs would be ideal, because there's nowhere to sit and put on your makeup or write or eat a meal.But overall a positive experience and a very nice hostess.

The host went out of her way to be accommodating! She made my stay so easy- exceptional to be exact. Even called to confirm I had arrived and that all was good in the apartment. Great neighborhood - close to wonderful restaurants. Bed was comfortable and 2 big televisions. Full size refrigerator with ice maker made drinks in the evening easy. I will definitely be coming back. Don’t miss this gem if you are coming to Winston-Salem.

Perfect location, easy walk or drive to everything! Loved having the park so close by and so much to do and see. I was met by the hostess upon arrival and was handed the keys and given a tour of the property. The accommodations were very pleasant, clean and well equipped. The West End neighborhood is lovely and full of history and charm. I definitely plan on staying again. My pup and I had a wonderful time!

It was a most comfortable place with everything we needed. Location is excellent. Be sure to go to Louie & Honey (walkable) for their cinnamon rolls. Host went above and beyond and always responded to any questions. I definitely will stay there again.

Great communication, pet-friendly, easy to get in, parking wasn't an issue on the street, area felt very safe and quiet. Only critique I have is there was a faint smell of smoke in the living room - I'm not sure if people are allowed to smoke inside because the listing says smoking allowed in "designated areas" but regardless it was something we noticed because we were traveling with an infant. Otherwise have nothing bad to say about this apartment.

All air filters are being upgraded and replaced to address this, and it is very likely the smoking policy will be changed entirely to prevent any future issues for guests. Great location and the apartment had everything we needed. The only thing we would change is it smelled like a smoker had been there before us. Otherwise, great experience!

This little place was wonderful. The location is amazing. We walked around the beautiful neighborhood , Hanes Park, and downtown. You are within 10 minute car ride to just about anywhere . The apartment was spotlees. Very clean with ample amenities. The host is very accommodating and available to reach if you need something. She met us at the property when we arrived at 9:30 pm! We will most certainly stay here again when back in Winston. I highly recommend the West End Whisper!
