The photos are gorgeous but it’s even better than I expected. The beds, sofa and chairs are all super comfy, the kitchen is well appointed and the bathrooms are spa quality. It feels like a true home, not a ‘decorated’ space, it had everything we needed. We brought our teens and dog, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and we’ll definitely be back. Easily walkable to the ocean, restaurants, shops and parks.

It was a wonderful stay. The owner thoughtfully worked with my boyfriend to have flowers on the table for Valentine's Day when I walked in. Loved the shower, tub, and bed was so comfy. Will definitely stay again!

Amazing beach rental!!!

We had such a a great time at this beach rental! It is super inviting and very beautiful! It was spacious with lots of areas to spread out. The game room was so much fun! The bathrooms were amazing! The kitchen was a joy to cook in because it was so well appointed! We loved this place!!!

This house was VACATION. . And that’s saying a lot because we were two GenX there with four GenZ. We love the house and all the fun decorations. The record player was a major highlight. And of course the house was spotless and I am so grateful for the hosts accommodating us to bring our dogs at the last minute because their boarder was short-staffed and canceled. I know dogs are allowed, but I didn’t want to bring them, but I’m really grateful that we picked a house that allowed dogs even though we didn’t originally plan to bring them. The communication from the hosts was perfect. Thank you again for a wonderful stay! We hope you’ll have us back again!

Vintage and cute!

It's a cute little place full of extra details you wouldn't think of. The decor is really cute. The location is great to walk all over the town. Tarot cards in the vending machine! How could you not?! So many games! Great hosts made themselves available straight away and didn't bother us at all during the stay. I would book here again.

We loved our stay and cannot wait to stay here again. There is so many spaces for our family to connect. We were able to fully relax. The beds were so comfortable. We spent time in the nostalgic game room laughing and playing a large variety of games. We also were able to relax in the sun room with friends and catch up. Our kids asked if we could stay here every time.This house really had a space for everyone. A great location, just minutes from the beach, restaurants, and shopping. We could not ask for a better home away from home.

Something for everyone!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Block Away Beach house! We rented it as a family for for my mom's 72nd bday! I had intended to rent the whole house but accidentally rented just one side of the duplex. I ended up happy with the mistake as we still had plenty of room and probably spent more time together as a family as a result. The only thing I would say is to make sure you know if you're renting the whole duplex or just one side the pics are very similar so it can be confusing. Our family of 6 was very comfortable with just "side B". The house itself was absolutely perfect. The kids LOVED the game room and the whole space felt very family friendly. My mom and I enjoyed doing puzzles and listening to records and hanging out on the enclosed patio. It was an easy VERY short walk into town and you were in the middle of the action but back at the house felt nice and tucked away. The jacuzzi and spa like shower were also enjoyed by all! One of the best vacation homes I've stayed in!
