Villa Gypsea by Fantasia Villas

The newly built Villa Gypsea (GYP) ticks all the St. Barth boxes. The luxury rental property has a perfect location in Lurin, on the turn going down to Gouverneur Beach, putting it close to Gustavia and giving it sunset views. It has a contemporary design with neutral colors and natural elements. And it offers a relaxed style of indoor-outdoor living that works well for various groups of family or friends.

Villa Gypsea is centered on an open-plan living area and kitchen, which has dining tables both indoors and out. Inside, there are high vaulted ceilings, a breakfast bar, and a large smart TV. The floor-to-ceiling windows on either side of the living area—one of the sides facing the sea and the other one overlooking the green garden—can be fully opened to let the Caribbean breezes waft through. Alternatively, it can be fully air-conditioned.

On the terrace, there are a variety of spaces for gathering or relaxing alone, including the dining area, a collection of chaise lounges, and a gazebo. The heated infinity pool overlooks the ocean.

The fourth bedroom occupies its own bungalow a few steps above the main spaces. It has a kitchenette, private living space, a heated plunge pool, and a separate entrance via a path through the garden. This bedroom is very convenient and private from the rest of the house.
