Welcome to the Lone Cone Suite, a retro-designed and uniquely curated space for your ultimate Tofino getaway. Ideally located in Tofino’s downtown core, this suite is steps away from all the great coffee shops, amazing restaurants, and local artisan stores. It’s even a short stroll to the beautiful Tonquin beach!
Lone Cone Suite is one of three suites located at The Botanical House. Each fully contained suite has its own entrance and designated parking spot. All suites are accessed via the upper deck. There are no shared common areas, but you may hear the muffled sounds of a neighbour or run into the owners in the driveway.
The owners of the house live on the main floor where they also operate a floral studio. If you’d like to have fresh flowers waiting in your suite upon arrival, visit Pollen & Company’s website.
The Neighbourhood
Located in the heart of Tofino, puts you near all the best attractions. Enjoy a morning coffee at Drift Moto Surf Coffee Shop or breakfast scone at Common Loaf Bakery. Hungry for some patio time? Grab a burger at Shed or indulge in Tofino’s best cocktails & dinner at Wolf in the Fog. Explore local shops or take a stroll down to the inlet where the ocean meets the mountains. For sightseeing and nature tours, visit Jamie’s Whaling Station (we have a referral code - see our website for the link). Everything you need for a memorable stay is right outside your door!
The Suite & Living Room
As you step inside, you’ll find a bright, inviting space with a comfortable bedroom, a private deck and a cozy living area. The bedroom features a plush king size bed dressed in fresh linens, perfect for restful nights. The living space has a small couch, a chair and TV creating a relaxed environment ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. Natural plants and thoughtful decor welcome your serenity. The suite's large deck, equipped with chairs, coffee table and stunning mountain views offers a perfect retreat for morning coffee, your yoga flow or an evening glass of wine.
Bathroom
The bathroom includes a standing shower, with provided shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap. Fresh towels and essential toiletries are available for your convenience, ensuring you start each day refreshed and ready for adventure.
Outdoor Deck
Step outside onto your private back-facing deck, accessible via the right side of the house and up the stairs facing the back. The deck offers a lovely spot for morning coffee or evening unwinding, with views to enjoy Tofino’s peaceful surroundings.
Access & Property Info
These suites are accessible via stairs on the side of the house. There are motion sensor lights to help guide you at night. The suites are part of a triplex upstairs, sharing walls with other units. While you may hear muffled sounds from neighbours, please respect each other's privacy and quiet time between 10pm-8am. Please note that all three units are not pet-friendly and are adult only.
Directions to 450 Neill St., Tofino, BC
Head west on Highway 4 until you get to the Pacific Rim junction then turn right towards Tofino. Once you get to the first intersection in town, turn left on Fourth st, then turn right onto Neill St. The Botanical House is the big yellow home on the right hand side. Look for designated parking signs for your suite and park in the labeled spot directly in front of the house.
Transportation
Tofino offers a variety of transportation options for your convenience. Use the well-maintained multi-use path (MUP), used for pedestrians, bikers, joggers, and strollers. During the summer, enjoy the free shuttle bus from town to Cox Bay, or take advantage of the new transit service connecting Tofino to Ucluelet. Bike rentals, including e-bikes and pedal bikes, are available nearby, and the Coastal Rides app makes ride-sharing easy. For longer trips or larger groups, options include the Tiki Bus, Pacific Rim Navigators, or arranging a rental car through Budget at Tofino Airport (pre-booking recommended).
Parking
One designated parking spot is available directly in front of the house for your convenience. Please park in the labeled spot assigned to your suite.
Laundry
There is no on-site laundry access. For longer stays, a laundromat is located just steps away.
Booking Policies
All bookings include a cleaning fee plus applicable GST, PST, and MRDT taxes.
During peak summer (June 15 – Sept 15), a minimum stay of 3 nights is required, with back-to-back reservations preferred.
Mid-season rates apply during winter long weekends and Christmas.
Canadian Statutory Holidays require a minimum 3-night stay.
Monthly stays are exempt from PST and MRDT; contact us for quotes.
Discounts of 5-10% are available for 7+ night stays off-peak.
Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival are fully refundable minus a $50 cancellation fee plus GST; cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable.
For direct bookings, a damage deposit is held at check-in and released after check-out if no damage occurs.
Insurance & Our Team
Our properties are protected by TRUVI (formerly SuperHog), a digital trust platform similar to Aircover, ensuring secure transactions. You will receive a verification request from TRUVI after booking to complete before check-in.
Blue Crush Vacation Rentals is a local property management and cleaning company. We’re proud to donate 2% of each direct booking to local community projects. We also offer some discounted rates for activities—reach out before booking any excursions or check out our welcome book! For example, we have a 10% off code for Swell Paddle Board and Surf Rentals. - Cancellation: When booking direct on the Blue Crush Website, 100% refund less $50 cancellation fee if cancelled more than 30 days before arrival. Non refundable if cancelled within 30 days of check-in. Both airbnb and the website state slightly different as they are pre set; this policy takes precedence.
- While staying at the rental, you are responsible of the security. Ensure doors and windows are locked and closed.
