Neu renoviert für 2018, bald aktualisierte Fotos! Genießen Sie einen ruhigen und erholsamen Familienurlaub in diesem schönen 6-Schlafzimmer, 3-Bad-Einfamilienhaus mit freiem Blick auf das Meer - es könnte genauso gut am Meer liegen. Der Strand ist über einen kurzen halbprivaten Pfad zu dem am wenigsten überfüllten Teil der Insel erreichbar. Sie werden sich fühlen, als hätten Sie Ihren eigenen privaten Strand. Die große Wiese ist ideal für Badminton, Volleyball oder Krocket.

Die Hauptebene befindet sich im Obergeschoss und verfügt über 4 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, ein Esszimmer und ein geräumiges Wohnzimmer mit Zugang zu einer großen Terrasse am Meer mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten. Eine Wendeltreppe führt zu einer Witwenwand auf dem Dach, wo Sie Sonnenuntergänge und eine 360-Grad-Aussicht genießen können. Alle Schlafzimmer verfügen über Kabel-TV.
Die untere Ebene ist ein weiterer Wohnraum mit Wohnzimmer mit Schlafcouch, 2 Schlafzimmern und einem Bad. Dies ist ein perfekter Kurzurlaub für Teenager oder alle, die mehr Privatsphäre wünschen. Entspannen Sie sich im Schatten unter der überdachten Veranda - machen Sie ein Nickerchen oder lesen Sie ein Buch. Unten befindet sich eine geflieste Dusche mit Ankleideraum. Viele Parkplätze abseits der Straße (4-6 Autos) sowie 2 Autos unter dem Carport. Ihre Familie wird es nicht bereuen, wenn Sie diesen Urlaubsort reservieren. Great location with views

Its an excellent property, very enjoyable deck with hammock and great ocean view. Easy access to beach. Only draw back with water pressure and hot water when multiple taps are in use. Apart from this, everything is good including checkin and checkout process.

Family house

The house served our family very well. It could have been a bit cleaner but was ok. Rental agent was very quick to respond to our questions and needs. Our stay there helped our family get through a difficult week preparing for and attending the funeral of our mother. We’d definitely would rent the home again for a happier occasion.

WOW in Wrightsville!

Grandparents, parents and kids had a fantastic time at Cottage Place! It was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 6 teens. Perfect combination of hangout space and (upstairs, downstairs, decks and yard) and private space in the 6 nice sized bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked for making meals and the large dining room table allowed us all to eat together! The view was spectacular from the decks and inside the house. The walk to the almost private beach was short and easy for all. Just a tip, there is a gas grill and drink fridges on both floors! We would love to return next summer!

Not clean

Upon checkin there was clothes and towel left behind the door on a hook. Trash in under beds and chairs. With a 8 month old baby they find all the trash. All in all a good trip and awesome location just a little unclean

We Didn’t Want To Leave!

I booked this house for my family of 17.. we had plenty of space for everyone! Babies all the way to 55 years old were comfortable and felt at home. The house is fully stocked and furnished with every need and desire you can think of. We had a family game night using the hutch full of games, played cornhole in the yard while the kids played Tball and splashed in the kiddie pool and even used provided boogie boards and chairs for a few fun filled days on the beach. To top it all off we enjoyed the amazing views from the ocean facing deck with hammock and the roof top porch!! The walk to the beach was a breeze and was so convenient we didn’t even get in the car for other entertainment until the fourth day of our visit. We loved this rental property so much we joked about making an offer to purchase it!! This will definitely be our new family vacation spot!

Just ok - one major disappointment

There was no mention of the major construction project located right off of the main outdoor living area. This was very disappointing since this is the spot where we would have liked to spend the majority of our time. Lots of things in the home that simply did not work properly or were broken.

Morning coffee on the rooftop evening shell hunting on the beach, volleyball in the yard! Memories made for a life time! Our family started their first family tradition in the beautiful house. Outdated and Lack of Cleanliness and Basics take the cake

The house is in a great location right by the beach with plenty of places to stay. It’s great for a large group to stay together with plenty of beds. However, there was an odor that required to ventilate the whole house when we arrived and the floors looked like they had not been vacuumed prior to arriving. Furthermore, the bathrooms had rust accumulating on the shower and faucet which could easily be cleaned by a steel brush, but looked unattended for some time. Finally, it was missing the basics such as multiple rolls of toilet paper, bathroom mats, which pose a slipping risk, and although it was indicated prior, having to rent sheets from the property company or bring your own felt kind of weird. This place appears to be a rental property with an agency that manages multiple properties so it’s not surprising that it received the bare minimum to keep it in rental condition.,

We made them available for rent, or automatically included on longer stays. For 2020 - this will be included automatically for you so you wont have this issue going forward. Regarding the cleanliness, next time give us a call and we can look at remedying any situation for you immediately. We often can replace hardware that is past its useful life the same day! It was fine, but ...

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we booked the house, there were comments referring to the age of the appliances. We were only staying three nights so we thought we didn't need anything extravagant. We arrived at the property to find the kitchen wasn't very clean. We recleaned it ourselves and then cooked dinner for 15 guests. As we finished loading the dishwasher, we realized that the door didn't close all the way, therefore it wouldn't wash the dishes. I called the 24/7 emergency maintenance line and they said they'd have someone out first thing in the morning. No one ever called or came by, so I called two more times and someone finally came at 5pm. He said they knew about the dishwasher being broken and never told us. We also battled an oven that overheated, so we bought paper plates and got take out for the rest of the weekend. Until these issues are fixed and you have confirmed with the real estate company, I would not recommend this property. The location is great and the house has a great outdoor space.

The dishwasher was found to need replacing, which will be happening before our next guest arrives. I do apologize for the lag time between when you reported the dishwasher and a technician coming to the property. We try our hardest to get to all guest issues as promptly as possible, but sometimes emergencies will hold up other issues being completed. However, we were able to fix the oven during your stay. We also would've been more than happy to send a housekeeper over to clean the kitchen had we been initially notified that it was not up to par. We take feedback very seriously in order to make our guest experience the best it can be. We hope you will reconsider staying with us in the future!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was in a great location with a great view, but overall the home could use some TLC. The living area was definitely not clean. There was a whole beach worth of sand underneath the area rug. Because of Hurricane Ian they had to place all of the outdoor furniture in the living room which made the rug askew and wouldn’t lie flat. The rug pad underneath was of no help. It is old and nasty. The rug needs to be replaced. Most importantly, the home was not toddler friendly, which needs to be said in the rental description. The spiral staircase to the basement/garage was not safe for toddlers or the elderly. The spindles are set too wide apart and a toddler can fit through to fall to the basement. We didn’t find the outside staircase to get inside until the next day because of the rain when we arrived. We wanted to switch houses when we arrived because the fridge smelled like fish and the bathrooms are outdated and had a distinctive smell. We were scared for our toddlers safety. When I told them they should advise that the house isn’t safe for kids they asked me is I had asked them if it was kid friendly when I booked the house. No, but we rented a crib through them as well as listed the kids when we booked the house.

Hi Pamela and thank you for your feedback. As far the refrigerator, this house conveniently offers two refrigerators, one on each floor. We sent a house keeper to clean the refrigerator that you stated smelled like shrimp the very next morning since this issue wasn't reported until a few minutes before the office closed, and you sent them away and stated it was no longer needed. Also, I do hate that we were having to prepare for a hurricane during your stay. Preparation involves bringing in outdoor furniture and any loose items so nothing can blow away or cause injury to persons or properties. I apologize if that made the rug askew and brought in sand. I will make note of your suggestion to replace the rug in case the owner has plans for updates in the future.

Very disappointing stay

Rating Details: The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is not accurately represented based on the photos. It is in MAJOR need of some upkeep. The bathrooms are in terrible condition with mold, damages, and are just very dirty. It seems as though no one has refurbished this place in the past 20 years. Dead bugs all over the basement level. If it rains, the outside lower patio stays flooded for days so you have to sweep the water away if you want to use the seating area/grill. The air vents seem to have not been cleaned since the place was built from the large clumps of dust coming out of the AC vents. I will never rent from this company again if this is the standard of homes they provide for their $1800/night rentals. You would think the company would vet the house before they offer it up for rent.

Toula, we deeply regret that your experience renting with us was not a positive one as the guest experience is something that we are very passionate about. While we disagree with your statements regarding the photos advertising the property being inaccurate and the property needing maintenance, we understand this was your experience and will work with our teams to ensure every stay at Place Cottage is a memorable one. The home was recently spring cleaned, had all it's carpeting replaced with new carpet, new outdoor cushions, fresh paint on the exterior of the home, and quite a bit of new furniture as well all installed in the last year. The owners work very hard to maintain their home. Our team also works very closely with our housekeepers ensuring they are meeting our high standards we set for them. Vent cleaning is a requirement for every checkout clean and if that was for some reason overlooked, we do apologize and wish you had let us know so we could have had the opportunity to correct the issues you found. We are on the same team as you are and want nothing more than your family to have an incredible and relaxing vacation - please call us next time should you have any concerns and we will be happy to help! This is one of our most popular homes we rent and it rarely receives negative feedback so while we are surprised, we will make note of all your concerns and pass them along to the property owners. Plenty of space for everyone, we had 17, the house had everything we needed and a view that was just amazing to see every morning . The deck was so relaxing wish we could have enjoyed more but we had a bit of rain. Although we didn’t use them the house came with tons of games for bad weather. There were a few minor recommendations for repairs mainly due to normal wear I’d say and sent an email. I would just ask that the dryer be replaced it’s extremely loud and only works on 1 setting. I highly recommend this home for your vacation. Bonus was tons of parking space and everyone loved the crows nest in the morning and evening!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place has seen better days. I rented this cottage in 2018 and 2019, and the carpet in master bedroom is still patched (watch your step else fiberglass like fibers will stick in your feet!). Plaster in the master bathroom is peeling off. Kitchen cabinet clutter is rampant and there's an entertainment center crammed full of far too many games, which had to be removed to make room for nonperishable items. Deck furniture is too large, too antiquated and in poor condition. I could go on, but I only allow so much time for a review.BTW...On two separate occasions, I asked someone at Bryant Real Estate to help me find another cottage for the same week 2021 but never heard from either of them. That said, I rented #6 Scotch Bonnet from Intercoastal Realty.

Kitchen silverware, dishes, pots and pans needed to be cleaned before we used them. There were many bugs (alive) in the lower level! Lower level refrigerator very noisy.

Based on your feedback about the bugs (which we did not receive until you checked out) we had the property professionally assessed right after you left. Like most of our properties, Place Cottage is on contract with a local pest control service and receives regular assessments and treatments. While the tech did not find anything unusual after your departure, we are always happy to have an opportunity for an extra visit! In addition to many partnerships with local vendors, we do have our own Maintenance team available to our renters 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we would have loved to have had the opportunity to respond to the toilet issue you mentioned in your review. Next time you stay in a Bryant Real Estate managed property, please feel free to call us any time and we will be happy to help you out during your stay with an on-demand response from Maintenance and Housekeeping staff. Great for groups! Beautiful location

This place was great for our large group. We had 20 and it was very comfortable. The porch is huge and great for evenings. The top deck view is incredible. Steps from the beach.

You charged me thousands of dollars and provided no dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, trash bags other than the ones that were in the cans and not a single roll of extra toilet paper!!! How CHEAP!!!

So sorry you did not enjoy the stay. If you want to get the best deal we suggest you book direct. Our contract states that we provide toilet paper in all bathrooms, trash bags in all trash cans, bath soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, but these are just starter items and you should bring the rest. I am so sorry that the lack of these small items resulted in a 1 star vacation for you though! Give us a call next time when booking and we will see what we can do for you!
