Clean, convenient, and in a great location in historic St. Charles. The check-in process was easy, with plenty of parking available in the lot behind the unit. My only issue during the 10-night stay was weekend noise from nearby restaurants and bars. Carrie was responsive to all my questions. I would recommend this place to fellow travelers, with the caveat about potential noise.

Very nice apartment in a perfect location in Old St. Charles. Tons of shops and restaurants within walking distance, and beautiful Frontier Park along the Missouri distance is across the street in the back. Some have mentioned noise at night from several bars and clubs playing music, and while there definitely was some, none of our party found it bothersome at all - no sleep disturbance at all! Recommend the Divine Otter for a great, unique stay in St. Charles.

The room was quite cozy with a very comfortable bed. The fact that it looked right out over Main Street was a definite plus. The host was readily available when we had a question at check-in. There are over 20 steps to get to the landing this room is on so be ready for that. (Good exercise)! Also, the building is located right next to a very popular bar so there is a lot of late night noise. (Bring ear plugs or a noise machine to block that out)! Having said that, the location right on Main Street was wonderful for our purposes. We were there for the Fete de Glacé ice carving competition and it was happening right out in front of the building. It was very cold and we appreciated the ability to go back to our room now and then to warm up and use the facilities!

Great stay

Overall stay was great, and we would definitely stay again! only problems we ran into was the microwave not working properly and the toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. There was some residue left in and on the surface aera.

Overall, the stay was great, but the location was a bit of a mixed bag. It’s right in the middle of everything—super convenient—but also surrounded by several nightclubs that go strong well into the early morning. Definitely bring earplugs.Being from Florida, we’re used to sleeping with a fan, and there was no air movement in the room. The A/C controls were in a locked box out in the hallway, shared with other units, so we couldn’t adjust the temperature ourselves. It got pretty warm overnight, and we woke up sweating each night.

Super clean and comfortable! Our room was pretty small so keep that in mind if you’re wanting space.The location is amazing! Perfect for walking out on main or hopping on the Katy Trail.It was quite loud and rowdy at night. It did not quiet down until after about 2 AM. The noise inside the building was also a bit obnoxious. Our fellow tenants that weekend did not seem to be aware or concerned that there were others in the building.Overall it was a wonderful stay! Just be aware if noise or smaller space is something that would bother you, it may not be your place.

Great location, brutal to get in and out of the room. 24 steps up and down. If your an extreme sport athlete its great. Frankly these places are supposed to add extras like washer and dryer, kitchen etc. This place is not that. about a 350 square foot room. with a small microwave. as far as comfort there is a small little chair in the corner. The place is right over 3 loud bars and was rocking till early morning, I have stayed in dozens of these places and was disappointed. others might love the place..

Memorial weekend

The location is right in the middle of all the shopping and dining. That also means it is right in the middle of the bars. It was very noisy until about 2am. The air conditioning was not working properly for our stay and it was very warm and stuffy in our room. The property manager was very prompt to respond when we contacted her but the issue was not remedied. Likely due to it being a holiday weekend. Also this is just personal preference but there is no individual thermostat in the room and no designated parking spot. It is a very nice room and has everything we needed except cool and quiet. Quiet is my fault for not looking at the area closer.

The room was exactly as pictured/described, clean room, coffee available, easy to get in contact with host. The only 1 thing, which any young person would love, is that it's between 2 nightclubs and the music does not stop until 2am. Other than that, it was great and at a perfect location.
