Zu Fuß zu Raunts, Antiquitätenläden, Post, monatlichen Musik und antike Veranstaltungen. A Walking / Radweg in der Nähe des Hauses ist 7. 5 Meilen lang vom Verkehr geschützt. 2 Schlafzimmer mit Klimaanlage zu Hause auf Eiche bedeckt viel mit Bürgersteigen. Fahrräder auf Anfrage erhältlich. Der Pool ist das ganze Jahr über mit viel Beleuchtung für Abendunterhaltung. Ein Grill ist auf der Terrasse für die Nutzung durch unsere Gäste. Pool ist mit den Eigentümern geteilt.

Simply The Best

Everything from the home to the owner makes you feel like your at home. Property has everything you would ever need. You could bake a cake if you wish (from scratch) because all the kitchen tools you need are there. Pleanty of places to eat within a short drive. Pool area is awesome. The owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Beautiful Place

The house was very clean and well taken care of along with the patio/pool area! Overall great place to stay near lakeland area and Malcom was a great host!

Very nice place to stay.

We stayed four nights in April 2022. The house was well appointed, clean, comfortable, and overall better than expected. The pool area in the back was a wonderful, private spot to hang out surrounded by beautiful and lush vegetation. We enjoyed walking to Main Street to enjoy a couple of the restaurants. If we're ever back in the area, we'd definitely stay here again.

Bartow beauty!!

The home was beautiful and very inviting we felt like we were at home! Pool had everything you'd want to use from noodles to the grill!! Next time we'll be more prepared to grill. 😇 We met the owner and talk about southern hospitality very genuine and kind! Outstanding find for us we will be visiting again hopefully soon! Close to my family and down town was fun with the antique shops and historical homes absolutely beautiful!

The property was perfect for my weekend trip. The house was clean and well maintained. It is very close to restaurants and bars downtown. The backyard pool area was relaxing and the covered patio was my favorite spot on the property.

Perfect stay!

If you’ve been looking at this house...Don’t hesitate! The house has been beautifully updated and has a wonderful outdoor space. Kitchen is incredible with all new stainless appliances. We loved it so much we didn’t leave the house very often during our week long stay. It has the biggest, most comfortable master bedroom.

Home Again!

Our family lived in Bartow many years, my daughter and grandchildren still do, so it was like coming “home!” Hosts are wonderful, home is gorgeous and perfect for grandkids to visit daily for dinner and swimming! We will be back!

Perfect, absolutely perfect

I was looking for a location that would entice my grands to step away from their electronics and this little place did it! Truly a lovely home, tastefully decorated, comfy furniture and beds. Plenty of room, inside and out. A step or two out back is a tropical oasis with a huge picnic area, relaxing chairs, lounge chairs and a pool. So very pleasant! Pool toys for the little ones, beach towels for poolside. Bed and bath linens were excellent quality! Well stocked kitchen for meal prep and a nice screened in back porch for the afternoon Florida monsoons! Wi fi worked beautifully. We did have an AC glitch but owners responded promptly to get it resolved/repaired. We all fell in love with Rudy, the neighborhood cat. She loves to talk and we really looked forward to her visits! Bartow was new to us, and it’s downtown (just a few blocks) is quaint and charming. There was a Friday evening downtown street gathering with a band, cake walk, vendors, crafts, etc. Even the teenagers loved it! Our hosts were available when we needed them but not at all intrusive. Groceries and Walmart within minutes. Can’t say enough good things. Can’t wait to visit again!

House is great but zero communication during our stay!

The house is absolutely perfect and was a great place to stay during my co-worker's and my work trip to Bartow. The only problem we had is that we had ZERO communication with the homeowner during our stay, including instructions for check in and Wi-Fi username/password. We got lucky and found a key in the mailbox (also the front door and side doors were wide open, which could have been a problem had someone broken in before we arrived and trashed the place) and were able to get in, but we were unable to use the Wi-Fi the entire week and there was no welcome letter or anything else indicating this information in the house. The morning of our check in, I called, texted, messaged through the VRBO site, and even called VRBO customer service. Despite these measures, we did not hear from the homeowner the entire 5 days we were there and still have not. VRBO customer service told us that we should receive a welcome email at 4 PM (check in time), but this email did not include any relevant information and the app I downloaded specifically for this stay did not include any check in information either. In conclusion, we got lucky and had a great stay (minus the Wi-Fi), but if anything had gone wrong, it could have been a much different story.

We apologize for any miscommunication. We live next door to this property and are available 24/7. Our WIFI does not need a password and is always available and there is a secured version also and the sign in information is on the desk. I had talked to the guest when they made these reservations originally 3 separate dates but cancelled two of them. I was traveling in Canada and had no cell reception. My wife was home the entire time. Again please accept our apology for any inconvenience this caused you. Diann and Malcolm Wilson

No one vacations in Polk County?

I loved the guest book at this home, because I did wonder how a VRBO could exist in sleepy little Bartow. Most people appear to be visiting family (like us), and as families grow and change sometimes you just need extra room. That said, this home could be a vacation destination in itself. Immaculately clean, drop-dead gorgeous inside and out, filled with all the amenities you might want and the cutest pool ever, we did not want to leave. The owner stopped by one time on check in with more clean towels and to make sure everything was all right, and was just the perfect host. I wish we knew more about VRBO norms because I'm not sure we were the greatest guests, but we sure appreciated this option and hope to be able to use it again.

A Home Sanctuary Oasis!

I hesitated to write this review because I don’t want to this home to become so desired that I won’t be able to book needed dates! Seriously. But, Malcom and his team, his vacation home deserves to be shared and treasured by all who appreciates this home oasis sanctuary because no other words can/ will suffice. We enjoyed it tremendously and I did not want to leave! The resident cat , Rudy is a quiet trickster... haha! He wants to go in the house. Love him! This property is 5 *****! Malcom is very responsive to questions and to assist as needed. The area is quiet and secure. I slept like a rock! Thank you Malcom. The only things I’d change : I’d add blackout curtains for the bedrooms especially the first bedroom due to the light out front. Next a rug to place in the kitchen in front the sink. Lastly, more wine glasses! Remember to bring your citronella candles to prepare for those big mosquitoes outside. And you will be wanting to spend time outside! Looking forward to returning. We enjoyed every thing this vacation property offered indoor & outdoors . Simply awesome! The standard by which every vacation home is held to. Again thank you for sharing your vacation home Mr. & Mrs. Wilson.Well done!

Awesome home! Contained all the amenities needed and more. Just loved it!

Nice and quiet home that contained everything you would ever need. Nicely decorated and spacious. My family enjoyed it tremendously. Would love to return and would highly recommend it. Very prompt responses from the owners. Everything was just fantastic.
