Unfortunately, guests sometimes change the cords or settings, and it can be a bit of a mystery figuring out what was changed afterward. Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed our home and that we were able to respond quickly and help identify the source of the fragrance during your stay. We completely understand that everyone has different sensitivities and preferences when it comes to scents and mattresses. If we had known ahead of time that you were particularly sensitive to fragrances, we would have been more than happy to remove the air fresheners and make sure the home was cleaned without any fragranced products. The candle in question was actually covered with its lid, so we weren’t aware that there was still a noticeable scent. We also intentionally have a firmer mattress and a softer mattress in the home, since we know guests have very different preferences when it comes to mattress firmness. We appreciate you sharing your experience and are always happy to do what we can to make our guests as comfortable as possible!

Thank you for your comments about the home. We’re glad you found it clean, well-stocked, spacious, and conveniently located. Regarding the sign, we want to clarify that it has been on the neighbor’s property for over two years. Some of the missing person’s friends have made accusations suggesting that we are involved, but those accusations are completely untrue. We have no involvement in the disappearance whatsoever, and the sign is not something we have any control over. We’re sorry the situation made you uncomfortable, but we do feel it’s important to clarify the facts for future guests.
