Festive and Lovely home.

We spent the Christmas Holiday at this home with our adult children. It is a beautiful home fully equipped with most anything needed. The owners are communicative and very thoughtful. They met us at the house and gave us a tour and also left some treats for us. Loved the wrap around porch as well as the homey decorating. The location is great for walking to restaurants, the River Walk and local shops. We would stay at this home again. Almost forgot to mention, The home was also decorated for Christmas with a tree, lights on the bannister and outdoor lights too.

Charming Home

This is not your typical vrbo. This is definitely a home with all the comforts. Very charming ambiance and decorated with antiques and furnishings. The neighborhood is lovely and conveniently located to the Riverwalk and to downtown Bradenton for restaurants and bars. The beach is a short driving distance away. Great front porch and nice pool and patio in the back to relax in and have a warning coffee or afternoon drink. The area is super safe and neighborhood has a cool vibe. The hosts were so attentive and always responded in a timely manner. We would definitely stay at this home again.

Perfect Getaway

Curb appeal is everything and this house has it in spades. Enjoying my coffee on the beautiful porch each morning while listening to the birds greet the day and the fat squirrel wind his way up and down the tree looking for breakfast was just the perfect start. It set the tone for everything this trip was - relaxing. I wish I could pick this house up and move it to North Carolina because - down to the decorations - it's everything I'd want if I could pick. Large enough space for all to gather in the kitchen for lunch, a large dining room space for dinner and plenty of room to stretch out for evening movies. AND the pool ~ The backyard was a true oasis. If we had never left the house, our vacation would have been amazing. But, being so close to everything - walking distance to the cutest downtown and 10 minutes to a public beach access on Anna Maria, our schedule was packed. We truly love this area. Gregg & Lori were wonderful hosts. Very communicative prior to our arrival and stuck around to greet us and tell us all about the house and local attractions - Lori, thanks for the tip about the Farmer's Market...we enjoyed all the vendors! This house is at the top of our list for all time VRBO faves! 5 stars indeed!

The Friendly City

A wonderful and peaceful 1920 house, with pool, in the historic centre of Bradenton. Walking distance from Old Main Street with its bars and restaurants, this was the perfect home away from home.Close to majestic Anna Maria island and downtown St Pete, the house offered space and tranquility as well as everything a family could need on a vacation. We can't recommend this property highly enough. We will definitely be back!

We grew up in Minnesota and moved to Sunny Florida in 1990. We love boating and spend a lot of time cruising on "A New Hattitude", our 53' Hatteras when our homes are booked. After living on our boat in the FL Keys for 8 years we are very happy to be back in the area full time and are able to recommend/ suggest things to make your stay more fulfilling. Thankfully most of our 4 children and 5 grandchildren are close by so we have good back up for our guests should we be traveling.
Along with this vacation home, we also have a vacation home on Vrbo, "The Palms" across the river in Palmetto. This is a 5bd./4 1/2ba. 3100 sq. ft. home right on the Manatee River with dockage for 2 boats. This home features a living room home theater, family room with French door opening to the river, a fountain, tiki hut and pool. There is also an outdoor kitchen. The magnificent kitchen overlooking the river is well appointed and equipped for large groups. On top of all this is a 2nd floor pool/game room with bar and balcony overlooking the river. So check this out if you need a larger home or would just like to be on the water.

The location alone is the best with this property. Everything is really close for the guests to enjoy, restaurants, bars, live music, theater, galleries, shopping, water sports, beach, etc. As it is one of our homes, it has everything your home would have so it is more like going to visit Mom or Grandma than staying in a vacation rental.
