Dishes, especially glasses and flatware, were inadequate. Coffeemaker only made 2 cups at a time. Dishwasher did not work and owner was unable to get it fixed during our stay. Beds could have been more comfortable. Owner, however, always responded when we contacted her.

Overall, we had a good experience, and the house met our needs. However, there were several issues that we think future guests and the host should be aware of.The property did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival, and it seemed like some things had been left behind from previous guests. We found six cockroaches during our stay, and there were noticeable stains on some of the towels and furniture. There also wasn't enough toilet paper provided for the length of our stay, which was inconvenient.One member of our group, a healthy 23-year-old, slipped and fell in the bathtub. Thankfully, there were no serious injuries, but adding a non-slip mat or other safety feature could help prevent future accidents.Despite these concerns, we still enjoyed our overall stay. With better cleaning, improved pest control, more adequate supplies, and a few safety improvements, this property could provide a much better experience for future guests.

We try our best to keep everything fully stocked, so I'm sorry that fell short for you. Regarding the bugs you saw—I completely understand how unsettling that can be! Just to reassure you, those are actually water bugs (American cockroaches), which are extremely common in Texas around this time of year, especially during warm/humid seasons. We actually had a professional pest control service treat the property just the week before your arrival, but unfortunately, these seasonal water bugs can still occasionally wander in from outside. Lastly, I am very glad to hear that no one was seriously injured! Thank you for bringing the bathtub surface to our attention. We take guest safety very seriously, so we will definitely look into adding a tub mat for future guests to prevent any slips. Thank you again for your stay and for your helpful feedback. Host was easy to work with, there were some minor differences in the photos and what was inside the home. Overall was good, we did find an open window in the first bedroom on the right when we first arrived and I ended up checking the entire home for fear someone might be inside. Neighborhood was nice and quiet.

Clean and affordable!

Overall good place to stay The only thing I would change is to make sure everything holds six people since it sleeps six. You need six places to eat and sit outside. Thanks for a nice clean place!

It didn't feel clean, the second bathroom tub did not drain, couldn't use the shower. Master bath drained fine, I like baths. The stopper has mold on it, of course, I took the mat out, and I almost fell because the tub was slippery. The mat should have been cleaned. Mold in the grout, missing grout, no water pressure, and a crack in the wall going up to the ceiling. blinds were broken. The garbage disposal was replaced; the old disposal was still sitting there with open wiring, sitting in a puddle of water. We didn't use anything in the house. I rented this house because I saw how many good reviews it had. Next time I will stay in a hotel.
