Located just 2 miles from Viroqua, our cozy 2-bedroom farmhouse invites you to relax and unwind in the heart of the Driftless Area. Close enough to Viroqua for quick access to all of the great things this bustling driftless town has to offer, but a world away on a dead-end gravel road that offers ridgetop views for excellent sunrise and sunsets.

This charming original farmhouse has been recently rejuvenated with beautiful hickory hardwood flooring throughout. Cedar accent walls add some cozy comfort in both bedrooms, with each featuring a comfortable queen bed, and an additional futon available in the living. The dine-in kitchen is stocked with everything you could need and the fresh well-water is the best you will ever taste.

The dining room table seats six and spreads into a comfortable living room that opens up to a west facing deck ready that makes it easy to grill or take dinners outside to watch the sunset. A few steps from the deck sits a fire pit with views of the expansive grass yard and garden.

The full bathroom is stocked with essentials, and a separate laundry room adds convenience. When it’s time to rest, blackout curtains help you sleep in comfort.

You'll enjoy modern conveniences like heating, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, T.V., washer and dryer, and dishwasher. Outside, a large yard offers space to roam, while the fire pit area is perfect for relaxing or entertaining. The spacious deck with a grill is ideal for outdoor meals or evening hangouts. Plenty of outdoor seating available.

Just a couple of miles from town and close to biking, fishing, and exploring the natural beauty of the Driftless Region—this peaceful farmhouse was the perfect place for me growing up, and has been a cherished part of our family for over 75 years and I am so glad to be able to share its quiet, peaceful magic with you!

Such a beautiful property! Our stay was so relaxing and peaceful. The home is a very welcoming home. They provide yard games, board games, and puzzles. Plenty of blankets and towels. There is a washer and dryer. We are looking forward to our next stay next year.

Week long stay in Viroqua

If you’re looking for a small slice of heaven, that appears to be off the beaten path, while still being minutes from the local amenities Viroqua has to offer - then this cabin is exactly for you! My fiancé and I, along with our dogs, absolutely LOVED our stay within this home. The listing is exactly like the photos listed. We unfortunately endured a, what seemed to be, endless amount of rain during our stay, so we were unable to utilize the outdoor fire pit and grill, which we were looking forward to using! Our dogs loved playing fetch within the huge yard that come with the cabin, along with lots of watching and barking at the cows on the property! 9.5/10 - would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!

We absolutely loved our time at this cabin in outside Viroqua. It’s the perfect place to be off the beaten path while also being close to those everyday amenities we all enjoy having! I highly recommend Vicki’s cabin to anyone who is traveling through the area! Our dogs enjoyed watching the cows and playing fetch while weather allowed us to!
