I have a confession:
There’s a selfish side of me telling me not to review this magnificent property:
“Don’t do it! The last thing you want is to encourage others to stay here.”
It’s true.
The selfish side wants this home available exclusively 24/7 - Whenever I’ve a whim to travel to one of the most beautiful places on earth, Sag Harbor.
The fact is this property is a hidden gem.
The home is spacious. Beautiful. Light, and is surrounded by the most beautiful trees in a quiet location.
What’s especially great is that while it feels you’re in your own private oasis, it’s also an easy launching pad to all The Hampton Main Streets.
You’ve got frozen yogurt at Buddha Berry, local coffee joint Sag Town, the best burgers in town at LT Burger 12 minutes drive to Sag Harbor Main Street, where a walk to the bay is a few steps away.
You’ve got the bay minutes in one direction and the entire Atlantic Ocean 15 minutes in the other.
Southampton, Bridgehampton and East Hampton just around the corner..
And every drive is immersed in the beauty of The Hamptons trees and water views.
Yes, the selfish side is telling me to erase every word here and skip the review…
The selfish side doesn’t want to tell you the landlord, David, is remarkably helpful, attentive, caring and committed to making sure your stay is a one of a kind unforgettable experience.
The selfish side doesn’t want to tell you the Jacuzzi and Pool is amazing, it’s fun to hop into dozens of acres of woods behind the home… it’s a joy to see deer and turkey come to the property and…
Damn. What am I doing?
I should stop now.
But I won’t.
All jokes aside, staying at David’s property for nearly 3 months was an amazing experience. I had my family of 5, with my 4, 6 and 15 year old daughters - and everyone of us loved it and were sad to leave.
So do yourself a favor…
If you’re thinking of renting in the Hamptons, snatch this up quickly…
Because every day you leave it available, you risk one more day for me and my family to decide it’s time to come back and get this ourselves.
The only regret you could possibly have is not getting this property when it’s still available.
And to David: thank you for an incredible experience. We will be back.
