The house itself is a beautiful piece of history. The area in which it's located -- in Richford, Vermont, on the Missisqui River -- is interesting because it is also very steeped in history, going back to the early, Colonial era of French and English conflict, and including wilderness settlement and small-town New England's industrial development through America's first 150 years. The house is also very accommodating for large groups like ours, an extended family that stayed through a long weekend. With its many bedrooms, each with its own full bath and a Roku television, the house provides a lot of privacy for everyone, while also providing spacious and functional group areas that bring everyone together.During our stay, the property manager was always quick to respond and very helpful.
