The cabin boasts approximately 3800 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, sleeps up to 10 people. Master Bedroom (main level): King Size Bed, in suite bathroom with jacuzzi tub and double sink vanity, TV, access to private porch. Sleeps 2 -Bedroom 2 (upstairs): King Size Bed. TV. Sleeps 2 -Bedroom 3 (upstairs): 2 Twin Size Beds, 1 Bunk Bed ( twin over full). TV. Sleeps 4 -Bedroom 4 (basement-no window, outside emergency exit on this level): King Size Bed. Sleeps 2 -There two full bath bathrooms - upstairs and in the basement, and one half bath on the main level in addition to master bathroom. INDOOR LIVING: Open floor plan, living room with vaulted ceilings and panoramic view windows, dining room with wood burning fireplace and an access to covered porch, traditional Finnish sauna and a game room with air hockey tables, and our newest 2023 addition - arcade in the basement, 5 flat-screen TVs with over 200 channels including premium ones like STARZ and Showtime, board games, Xbox with wireless controllers. KITCHEN: Fully equipped w/ stainless steel appliances: refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, electric stove, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, rice maker, various pots, pans, dishes and utensils. GENERAL: washer/dryer in the basement. OUTDOOR LIVING: covered porch off the master suite with bistro seating furniture and an egg chair, covered porch off the dining room with lounging furniture, covered front porch with rocking chair and a bench, large patio with gazebo and 6 person Hot Tub, second patio with a fire pit and Adirondack chairs, corn hole game, breathtaking mountains views. LINENS/TOWELS: we provide all linens and towels to make sure you have a comfortable stay. BASICS/STARTING SUPPLIES PROVIDED (please make sure you bring extra in case you need more): -travel size shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, lotion, soap bar. -dish soap and dish sponge -dishwasher tablets -laundry detergent -toilet paper -paper towels -trash bags ACCSES / ROAD: IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING AND BE SURE THIS PROPERTY SUITS YOUR NEEDS!!! Please be advised you are considering a mountain property. There a long , approximately 0.6 mile one way, narrow, flat/gently sloped, unpaved, gravel drive way with gentle cliff on one side in some areas. It is the typical driveway one would expect when going to a non-commercialized cabin, but some people may not be familiar with this type of road! Drive Slowly! Our cleaning crew, hot tub and house maintenance, and even heavy duty trucks (like septic pumping truck, well drilling truck) had no problems coming in and out. We suggest arriving to the cabin before dusk!!! The house is located on top of a mountain, so watch the weather forecast. During months of November- April a 4 wheel drive or AWD vehicle is REQUIRED!!! While plenty of dry days occur during those months where a regular vehicle would be fine, you cannot predict those in advance. You will not be able to get to the cabin on 2-WD car in inclement weather during those months. Please take this warning seriously! The rest of the year, regular 2WD vehicles are fine. We do not offer refunds or cancellations due to weather or natural disasters, so make sure you`re okay with this before you book. We suggest purchasing a travel insurance. Locked away in the mountains, you will have all the privacy you need, yet close driving distance to popular tourist attractions during any season. Bearloga is only couple minutes away from the Jordan Hollow Stables, Shenandoah Park and Skyline Drive ~ 25 min, Luray Caverns ~ 18 min, Shenandoah River (tubing, rafting, kayaking) ~ 30 min, Massanutten Resort ~ 35 min, zip lines ~ 20 min, Luray Zoo ~ 18 min, Wisteria Farm and Vineyard ~ 6 min, Castle Vineyards ~ 22 min, and much more. There is also hiking everywhere! Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home except the owner’s storage closets.
