The Pua Melia is a spacious 2600 Sq Ft 4 bedroom office space with queen bed, 3 full baths, fully furnished home in a quiet cul-de-sac located minutes from Kailua town. Take a walk just a few minutes down the street to find Magic Sands Beach and Kahalu`u Beach Park for a great snorkeling experience. Easy access to all the sights and activities that Kona has to offer.
Enjoy ocean views as you watch the sunset from the lanai or while you cook in our fully equipped kitchen. A BBQ is available for your use.
Our private pool is the perfect place to cool off after a day of exploring or just for a day of lounging at home. The yard is a great space for outdoor games or suntanning and is very private.

*** Cameras are only placed in all common areas OUTSIDE the property with noise detection. There are no cameras inside the house. The cameras are in place to ensure the safety of everyone.

**We do not provide linens for the pack n play as babies might be sensitive to the detergent.

** Our property is pet-friendly. There will be an additional fee of $150 for pet cleaning. You will need to disclose your pets for our approval before booking. Limit 2 pets max, under 30 pounds.

**To ensure a clean and pleasant environment for all guests, we kindly ask that all dog owners clean up after their pets. Please dispose of pet waste properly using the bags and bins provided. Failure to do so may result in an additional cleaning fee.

***Trash Day: Trash pick-up day is every MONDAY.
Please kindly help us pull out the trash can on Sunday evening.

***Pool Maintenance will visit during your stay every THURSDAY. They will respect your space and privacy and will not be bothering you.

*** Natural noises, including roosters, frogs, etc are part of our community and can be loud at night during your stay. If you are sensitive to sound, we suggest bringing earplugs.

***Before making a reservation, we want to make sure our guests are aware of the natural environment, which includes local wildlife, rodents, and tropical pests, such as geckos, mosquitos, sugar ants, scorpions, carpenter bees, and the good ole cockroaches. They`re just a part of our normal life here, on our beautiful Big Island. If you`re excited about getting close to nature, you`ll have a wonderful time embracing everything that surrounds you during your stay. Our homes are well-treated but some of these critters are seasonal and have their own cycles. Our best efforts can still result in sighting.

- Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.
- Please respect the noise curfew.
- Turn off the lights/fans when you leave.
- Please respect check-in and check-out times.
- Please take care of the furnishings. You have to pay for damages.
- Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
- Please do your dishes.
- Respect our neighbors. Our homes are close together and our neighbors are our friends who are not on vacation, so please respect quiet time.
