The property is clearly labeled as a microbarn, which reflects its unique structure, layout, and charm. This includes lower ceiling heights in some areas, uneven original flooring, and a step up into the kitchen, all of which are visible in photos and noted in the listing. Rugs are used intentionally both for comfort and safety. The listing also clearly states that there is no central air. Central air includes both heating and cooling through ductwork. Instead, the space is equipped with alternative climate control, including a window air conditioning unit rated for up to 800 square feet and separate heating options. These details are disclosed so guests can make an informed decision prior to booking. Regarding the flooring near the kitchen, we take safety seriously and have already planned improvements, including added lighting to better highlight the transition area. We are currently in the middle of a very extensive insurance claim related to flooring and roof repairs and have been actively waiting on approvals since March. The kitchen setup, including hand washing dishes and the absence of a dishwasher, is also disclosed in the listing. The trash can size reflects the compact nature of the space, and we are always happy to provide additional bags upon request. Privacy concerns related to window coverings are noted, and this feedback is appreciated as we continue to improve the guest experience.
