Fantastic property! Description is accurate and does not disappoint. Space was open, clean with lots of natural light. We loved that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. Extra small common space upstairs with tv was great! Kitchen had everything we needed. Close to SoCo. Nice quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!!

Greta place for a family reunion. Location had numerous restaurants within walking distance. Short drive to almost everything in Austin. 9.5/10 would repeat.

Graduation stay

Family of out of staters in for UT graduation. Such a great spot with lots of space for catching up and sharing meals. Space felt casual but well appointed. Location was fabulous - in the middle of everything fun. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful house in perfect location

My five sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and spacious and very comfortable for all of us. The location was perfect. We walked everywhere from downtown to Barton Springs and back. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect Austin Getaway

We stayed with 2 other couples for a quick weekend getaway. Easily walked to local attractions and drove to others. The style of Marfa Modern is well done and comfortable! Especially loved having our own bathrooms as well as the great privacy of the outdoor space.

Car stolen out of driveway

Our first night around 11:30pm, our rental car from Avis (Yukon Denali) was stolen from the driveway while we were inside the house hanging out. One of our family members was going outside every 30 minutes or so to enjoy the warm air and noticed it had disappeared from the driveway. Car keys were inside the house and car doors were locked. Lights were on and the family room/kitchen is within 15 yards of the driveway through very large windows. Patio which runs alongside driveway had lights on. The criminals are clearly undeterred in this area. Future renters should be aware that it's a very dark street and while the homes are very nice, it is a target area for criminals. When we dropped off the key fob on Sunday, the Avis rep told us this happens often in South Austin. This house has no alarm or cameras. It looked like other neighbors had cameras in their driveways. Owner should allow garage parking. The police and property manager was very responsive and wanted to help but not much they can do.Home didn't appear to have any air conditioning option. It gets stuffy in the house, especially at night and upstairs bedroom.Big clean home, great patio, each bedroom had a bathroom, open concept interior, great kitchen island, walking distance from S Congress Ave which has many stores, restaurants and bars. Without the stolen car from the driveway, it's probably a 4 star review. Hard to give anything higher with what happened and the lack of prevention measures in place.

Good location

We had a good experience at this home except for heating. It was two stories and had only one unit, so upstairs was too warm and downstairs was too cold. We traveled to Austin during an unusual cold front, so it was uncomfortable. The owners tried to help, but the problem was the lack of a second unit.

Beautiful Christmas in Austin

The Marfa Modern house was a perfect oasis for our family Christmas in Austin. Lots of walkable delicious restaurants and the brand new HEB is super close. The home is very comfortable and we loved the indoor/outdoor feel.

Family Trip to Austin for a wedding

Great house with perfect layout for my family of 6 people. Everyone had their own bathroom and two nice sitting areas. Perfect location to walk to First Street or South Congress. Host was very accessible with any question and had great checkin instructions. Would definitely rent from them again.

Great property!

Comfortable home with great amenities! Comfortable beds and good location. I would caution anyone with mobility issues or anyone elderly from staying here as there are slippery rugs inside and uneven stones in the walk outside.

Beautiful Home walkable to South Congress

Home was beautiful and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Home has so much space for a large group to be able to have their own space and also be with the group. We loved the parking spaces and south congress restaurants and shopping are a quick 5 minute walk from the house. Neighborhood is lovely! Would stay again!

Perfect house for our vacation

This house was perfect for our family! We have stayed in Austin many times and this was the best. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Austin Wedding

We were in town for a wedding and found the house to be the perfect home for our family. We had 4 adult couples so the 4 bedroom/bath combinations worked well for us. The house was just as described, the kitchen was well stocked for our needs and the location was perfect for our wedding venue. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in Austin.

Family weddings

Great location and layout. Great decor and furnishings. Beds, towels, and linens all vey nice. Disappointed when we arrived as the lampshade over the couch had a considerable amount of bugs/dirt/dust in it. The drain in the master bath was clogged and drained so slowly the shower floor filled up with water. We called the renters club the next day and it was fixed immediately. The fans in the upper floor were very noisy and as a result were unusable. They could not be fixed while we were there. When we got up to make coffee in the a.m. there were no coffee filters which was inconvenient. The gate door to the house was difficult to open and the orientation very inconvenient for bringing luggage into the property. Overall nice property but given the reviews that were on the website I expected more as the rent was on the expensive side.

Easy walk to South Congress

Beautiful kitchen, ton of space being 4 beds and 4 baths. We were a less than 5 minute walk from South Congress, even with a 4 yr old. Check in was seamless, house had all the basics we needed and we were able to park our one minivan in the driveway space.

Stay at Evie (not Marfa) w/The Renter's Club

Lovely home, great location, very clean, well equipped. We stayed at Evie property, not Marfa. We had booked Marfa and several months later we were told the unit had been accidentally overbooked. Renter's Club provided similar properties for us to choose from and we chose Evie.

Girls Trip

Perfect in all ways for our girls trip! We flew in and had no car and so appreciated being able to check in a few hours early. House is clean and beautiful. Excellent location to walk everywhere we needed to go.

Amazing house, great location!

The house was both beautiful and comfortable, even for a large-ish group (there were 6 of us). It was a great set up for a group of friends. The neighborhood was quiet and nice and in a really great location - just a short walk to lots of stores/restaurants on S. Congress; and not too far from places like Trader Joes and Whole Foods. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Best. Girls. Weekend. Ever.

You know the feeling when there is no line at the coffee shop… the weather is not too hot and not too cold… your jeans fit like a glove… this was better! Gorgeous space with all the amenities you need for an afternoon out on the patio or a cozy evening lounging on the couch and spinning the tunes on the Spotify. Extra bathrooms for all the girls! Beds and pillows were awesome and toiletries provided. A fully appointed kitchen to whip up some guacamole or start the morning with a hot coffee or tea. Super convenient location to everything on South Congress! We walked everywhere. Safe, quiet neighborhood. Modern, clean, bright spaces! The only minor suggestion I could offer would be some additional hooks in the bathrooms for towels and in the entry for coats. Rental company staff was easily available and reliably responsive to questions. Seriously, this is a no brainer. Just book it.
