2 BDRM OCEAN / BEACH FRONT ROTATING CONDO!

Thank you Elaine! I'm so happy that you enjoyed your stay and we would love to host you again if/when you come back to PEI. We do have two portable washing machines available that can be attached to the kitchen sink as well as drying racks, however they do take up a bit of space on your condo floor. Most prefer to use one of the 3 laundromats close by where you can do some laundry & poke around the shops while you are waiting...

Hi Michelle! Thank you for your review & for choosing to stay with us. We do try to replace batteries & straighten pictures when they need it, but must have missed these. I'm sorry that you felt you couldn't contact us. We try to give instructions for self-help as we are not home often. We do only rotate once or twice a day for about an hour and it is impossible to work around the schedules of 4 condos as people are coming & going all the time to know if/when people are home. We simply cannot rotate 24/7. IT IS FOR THIS REASON THAT WE E-MAIL EVERY GUEST WITH THE DAILY ROTATION SCHEDULE so they can be sure to experience it, there are no surprises and that people can get exactly what is advertised. I forget the schedule that day, but sometimes if we are home, we rotate additionally when some guests are home & others are not so that they can get more ocean views, which is what I believed happened with you. Rest assured that this was an attempt to give you additional ocean views as something special. :) I do hope that you will consider returning & I will be happy to give you a discounted rate or free night along with a basement tour if you would like to see how the mechanics work. Please keep this in mind for the future...

Hi Judy, thank you for staying with us & I'm sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. You are the first guest to give our accommodation (the only one of its kind in the world) anything less than a perfect 5 star review. The "shelves" in the bathroom are actually supports for the frameless glass shower stall and not shelves. They need to be placed up high to support the glass so it won't fall down. We are waiting for a replacement light fixture as it is a wiring issue & not the bulb. My bad for not replacing the battery in the decorative clock. It is more of a decoration that an actual timepiece. For those without watches or phones, we do have a clock on the microwave and in the bedroom, so you will never have to worry about what time it is. :) The whole idea behind the rotating house is so that all condos can take advantage of the ocean view at different times, otherwise 2 condos would be facing the street all the time & the other two would be over the ocean. The house rotation sequence was explained thoroughly to you in your "welcome e-mail", so I am surprised that you were surprised. Maybe you did not read this important information, which includes the reasoning behind walking on the grass (i.e. to keep your 50' deck private from others as you would not like a family of 5 to trip over you while you are out on your deck enjoying a glass of wine, etc.). We do have our grass cut every 2 weeks and you were on the tail end of that before it was cut again, but this would be the difference between 1/8" and 1/4" - not exactly a hay field, but yes if it is raining or dewy and you are wearing flat sandals, then you may experience some moisture on the top of your toes. It is called a Rotating House for a reason - it is our house and it rotates. When we describe 4 condos under one roof, that implies that you are not in a row of cottages. This said, when you are out on the deck of your condo, you cannot see your neighbours because they are around the bend from you out of sight, unlike a cottage where you can see your neighbours immediately to your left and to your right. I realize that you were surprised and disappointed to learn that the house would rotate when we turned it on, but that is what our house does - It is Canada's Rotating House. If we turned it on and it didn't work, then people would be disappointed. We do appreciate your business during these difficult Covid times, however I think you may enjoy a "regular" accommodation better.
