Step into serenity. Nestled creekside on an acre of property, the Treehaus is comprised of two connected units in a Scandinavian-style octagonal home: a 1br/1.5ba upper level that accommodates two, and a 1br/1ba lower level that holds up to four. Not suitable for children. Enjoy a lightness of being in this wellness space, with a gourmet kitchen, floor to ceiling windows, forest views, spa tub, fire pits and fireplaces. An ideal choice for groups who want to gather, but also enjoy privacy.

The Space:
The upper and lower levels of the Wildland Treehaus are connected by an outdoor staircase and large wraparound deck, providing peace and privacy for groups, with shared gathering spaces. Please note: while pets are allowed with a $100 pet fee, it is not suitable for children under 12. Designed with your every comfort in mind, this relaxing mountain retreat includes:

H O U S E R U L E S

- Pets Allowed with $100 Pet Fee, you must add your pet to the reservation
- NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 12 - due to safety liability on property
- No parties, no smoking, no loud music, and no additional guests without expressed permission
- Local electric utilities incentivize electric use after 9pm. Please use the Tesla charger after 9pm and run through the night.


For a truly relaxing experience, we recommend spending some time in the sitting area by the creek. Directions to hiking trails, along with recommended sightseeing, shopping, cafes and restaurants will be shared with you upon booking.

Guest Access:
The entire 1 acre of property is yours to enjoy! Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not trespass onto their land - property lines will be identified in your welcome video.

The Neighborhood:
Located on Strawberry Creek, this land offers the soothing sounds only a seasonal creek can provide. Usually running September through May, and sometimes all year, please message to confirm - as the creek changes from season to season. Colorful foliage and apple trees ripe for the picking can be enjoyed in the fall. Come springtime, enjoy frogs croaking and the sweet scent of lilacs in the air as they bloom. Walking distance to town (20 minutes), and a short 10 minute walk to popular coffee shop Alpaca Coffee & Tea, as well as brunch & dinner spot Mile High Cafe. 2 minute drive to Idyllwild Arts Academy.

Getting Around:
You will need a car to properly enjoy Idyllwild, though you won't need it all the time. Hiking trails, restaurants, and the town square are all accessible within a 20 minute walking distance. Everything in Idyllwild is accessible within 5-10 minutes by car. 2 parking spots available for the guest space - please park where indicated to keep space clear for UPS deliveries, thank you!
