Villa Carina Bali is a small, privately run villa, and we’ve partnered closely with a local Balinese family from the village who help care for and manage the property. Supporting and working alongside the local community has always been important to us, and this partnership ensures the villa is maintained with genuine care and local knowledge.
Guests can feel confident knowing there is trusted local support available if needed, while also knowing their stay contributes directly to the people and community who live here.

We chose Ungasan because it offers what we believe is the best balance of everything Bali is known for — beautiful beaches, incredible coastline, and a peaceful atmosphere — without the crowds of busier areas. When we first spent time here, we were drawn to the openness, the calm surroundings, and the proximity to some of the island’s most stunning beaches, especially Melasti Beach.
Ungasan also provides easy access to the restaurants, cafes, and beach clubs of Uluwatu, while still feeling quiet and private. It’s an area where guests can truly relax, sleep well, and enjoy Bali at a slower pace, while everything they need remains close by.
