Great location and awesome place

Location of this place is perfect and it has plenty of room. Several places within walking distance and proximity to things even if you drive are not far. The only draw back is the air has trouble keeping the house cool, and it is fairly warm in the bedrooms. Also, one shower is a stretch for a big crowd like we had. Other than that, it is perfect.

Imagine if your accommodation was as beautiful as a historic home but with all the modern appointments. That’s Jones Street cottage! Very walkable, very beautiful. The stairs were a challenge for the eldest in our group, but doable.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is located in a beautiful historic section of Savannah, that is the only good thing I can say. While I understand the house is old, it could really use a bit of maintenance and good cleaning. The only part of the house that was semi clean was the kitchen everything else was covered in dust. There were wasps everywhere inside and just overall not worth the amount of money spent for a week. I book through Marriott villas and homes and I am truly appalled that they align themselves with a house such as this. I am utterly disappointed in the condition and cleanliness of this house. I would strongly advise you look elsewhere so a stay in Savannah.

Perfect location!

The house was located on a picturesque street in the historic district. Built in the 1800’s, most rooms were original and had many antiques throughout. The kitchen and bath were remodeled tastefully. The two guest bedrooms were lovely. The attic bedroom was a bit of a climb and a little cramped but worked fine for us. The management company was very responsive to my questions. Great way to feel like a local!

Perfect getaway

We enjoyed our stay in this unique home. Memories were made. If I HAD to pick something negative, I would just say to update the coffee pot and have more kitchen supplies and spices. We loved the space and the location for sure. I would recommend.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pictures are very deceptive in my opinion. The house could use a lot of TLC especially on the outside of the home. Several parts on the outside of the home was dry rotted and the home smelled very strongly of mildew/mold. Very unsettling. I understand the home was built in the 1800s, however it appeared normal maintenance had been overlooked. We ended up cutting our trip short unfortunately.

Great house, unfortunate circumstances

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was gorgeous and in a fab location! Beautifully decorated and had plenty of space for us all. We did run into an issue at our property where the previous occupant burnt plastic in the oven, which was discovered when we tried to make dinner on our first night. I reached out to the rental company the next day to let them know, and they sent a maintenance person to come check it out. Upon arriving home that day, the oven had an “Out of Order” sign. When I reached back to out to you for another update, we were told our only options were to let maintenance come back the next day to burn the rest out, which would cause the home to smell like burnt plastic (we still had 1 day left in our trip) or wait until we left. Both options were pretty frustrating as we booked an Airbnb over a hotel specifically so we could make food at home, and as a result had a significant portion of groceries go to waste, and we had to spend additional money on ordering out. There was no offer to compensate or find a solution that worked for me and my party.

Fantastic!

Loved the house, loved the location!! House was as advertised, and was plenty of space for the five of us. The stairs up to the loft are indeed steep, but this was not an issue for our group. Charming older house, on a beautiful, beautiful street. Outdoor patio is sizable, which was great. Even the river area was at most a 20-minute walk, which was not a problem at all. Savannah is best seen by foot, and Jones Street is a great location in which to center oneself for seeing the city. Great communication with Lucky Savannah too, both before and during (smoke detector battery replaced ASAP) our stay. Would absolutely stay here again!!

Great Place with Roof Issue

Cool old house, but we had a roof leak the entire stay and it rained a lot. Management communicated well and did what they could, but with a 3 night stay, not much could be done to fix the problem. The home is decorated beautifully, just be prepared to walk up some narrow stairs. After all, the home is over 150 years old.

Quaint historic home

Easy check in/out. Nice historical home but cluttered. Too many chairs and tables in each room. And the attic room was a storage area for extra furniture. Carpets needed replaced or cleaned as well as the couches and chairs. Pull out so sofa bed a disaster. Location was great.

Perfect

Our family of 7 loved this property. Everyone was comfortable and the space was more than adequate. It is a historical home, so it is of course a little dated but it adds to the charm. The location was perfect, we could walk to most places (about 15 mins) and the only way to experience Savannah is by walking! The patio space was larger than I anticipated. We would stay here again!

Family trip was perfect

We really loved this place. My ONLY cautions are 1) the stairs to the upper room are VERY STEEP so we were a little nervous about the kids up there, 2) the rooms are small so it was a little challenging to find a place for a pack n play, and 3) the house was a little off the beaten path, but all in all a lovely house, so charming, clean, comfortable.

Friends and I stayed here while visiting Savannah. It was very convenient to be able to store our luggage, ahead of check in time. The Lucky Savannah office is a short walk away from the property. The house was comfortable for the seven adults that stayed. It was convenient for walking wherever you needed to go. And, it’s located on the prettiest block in town.

Cute cottage in very nice location

Jones Street cottage was just as listed. We were four adults and an infant and the size was perfect. Wish there was a bathroom in the loft area to prevent going up and down the narrow stairs but we made it work. The cottage is nicely decorated and in perfect location. Parking was ideal with dedicated spot. Overall enjoyed the property and would stay again.
