Located just a couple of minutes off of downtown Main St. You will find great restaurants, clothing stores, Mirror Lake, the Olympic rink and museum are all located within five minutes walking distance. Clean room with good communication. Reasonable price for Lake Placid and very walkable from this location. Location is very good. Parking is reasonable. Good place for a no frills stay with good beds / bedding. Cons: Bathrooms / showers are small with significant water spray outside of the shower. Some issues with hot water in the second shower and the remodeling work was only Ok to update the place.

All the other reviews were spot on, so we got what we expected. Clean beds and hot showers, which was what was needed after a long day of hiking. Could be cleaner.

This property is truly within walking distance to everything Lake Placid. The rooms were clean, the kitchen compact without being too small. The water pressure is impressive. We will stay here again the next time we visit Lake Placid.

I had a really bad experience with this place. I booked it for Memorial Day weekend. the building is not well insulated at all. Every time people walked in the apartment above us, it felt like an earthquake because of how loud the noise was.On Saturday night, there were young people on the third floor playing loud music, screaming and jumping.I couldn’t sleep until after midnight. I eventually had to call the police because of the noise.I would not recommend this place for families or anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing stay.

Holiday weekends in the heart of town can unfortunately bring louder crowds, but we have a strict quiet-hours policy and zero tolerance for disruptive behavior. Had we been notified that night, we would have immediately stepped in to address the third-floor guests directly. We are a family-friendly property and truly regret that this isolated holiday incident impacted your peace. The location of this property is perfect. It's only a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to downtown. There was one issue but the host did their best to fix it in a timely manner. The property is not as spotless as the pictures. It is an older building, so things are just a bit worn down compared to the pictures. But the beds are comfortable and each room has an air conditioner, so it fulfilled our needs.

Property was convenient to everything and was very spacious compared to a hotel room. Parking was interesting as there were some tight spots if all apartments were rented and driving a truck or full size SUV. Apartment was older and worn but it was clean. Bathrooms were tight and water went all over the floor when taking a shower. Window air conditioner in every room so stayed very cool in July.

My family and I found that the only pro about this stay is the location. There was mold in the coffee maker. There was absolutely no water pressure in the showers. One of the bathroom sinks was clogged. There was practically no light to go up and down the stairs that are in need of repair. And the "easy parking" for a stay that can sleep 6 guests only allows for one car. So if you're traveling with others, be prepared to have to fight for a spot amongst the other apartment building guests, or park in the street (only available during summer). There were 6 units and 5 parking spaces.Oh, and they'll want you to load the dishwasher before you leave, but there is no dishwasher...

Do not stay here. Uncomfortable, unclean, and safety violations

My family rented this apartment to spend the weekend in Lake Placid for my father’s funeral. The apartment had mildew in the bathrooms, we found a bed bug crawling on the bed, the iron ruined my dress for the funeral, the AC was obnoxiously loud and barely cooled the apartment, there were safety violations including a broken electrical outlet and duct taped together window, and the walls are so thin you could hear the neighbors upstairs and next door. We were so uncomfortable in this place we couldn’t sleep. When I brought these issues to the host’s attention the host accused me of fake accusations. The host is taking advantage of guests and the apartment is not fit to be listed on VRBO. I would never stay here again and I warn others not to stay here either.

Judy,. You bought these claims up on your last day to get a refund. If any of these concerns were true why didn’t you leave the day you arrived. So You made false allegations on my apartment and now leaving a poor review because I went to the apartment to talk with you and check the apartment. You fabricated a blood stain to say it was a bug (I have photos) As I mentioned in our messages - I can’t control the neighbors talking and walking
