Palma Sola Park is one of the oldest communities in Manatee County having first been developed in the early years of the 20th century.
We are just a mile south of the Village of Palma Sola that was first settled in 1868 by James Warner from Springfield, Massachusetts.
The name Palma Sola came from the existence of a tall, solitary palm tree that stood on nearby Snead Island that was used to guide boats to the town from across the Manatee River.
The location is highly desirable because it is situated between the Manatee causeway and Cortez Avenue both of which lead to the Anna Maria Island beaches
We are just minutes away from the Robinson Preserve and the Ungarelli Preserve.
In walking distance , there are Horse back riding, for rent ,Jet ski, for rent and about 5 miles away on Ana Maria Island, you will have access to restaurants ,with music and dancing.
