Wir wünschen Ihnen einen großartigen Aufenthalt in der Double Diamond Lodge! Atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Black Hills von dieser mehrstöckigen Kabine. Es gibt fünf Schlafzimmer; Drei Zimmer mit Doppelbetten und zwei Zimmer mit Doppel- / Doppelbetten im Schlafsaalstil. Drei Badezimmer, eines auf jeder Ebene, bieten bequem Platz für 14-16 Personen. Voll ausgestattete Küche mit Wohnbereich und Kamin auf der Hauptebene. Perfekte Lodge für ein Paar oder eine Menge! Das Hotel liegt am Terry Peak, nur wenige Minuten von Deadwood und Sturgis entfernt. Die weltgrößte Bergschnitzerei, Mount Rushmore, befindet sich nur eine Stunde von dieser Lodge entfernt. Diese Hütte ist nicht nur ein großartiger Ort, um den Stecker zu ziehen und die Schönheit der Black Hills zu genießen.

Adult getaway

Nice cabin, alot of steep steps. Small living room, no shower on top level, no handrails on stairs in house. View from patios is awesome, overall nice cabin for the price.

Dated and TV didnt even work

Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, but very dated, beds arent very comfy, the living room furniture is falling apart and the TV didnt even work. Otherwise good location.

All of the beds have been replaced, the living room furniture has been updated, and a new TV has been installed. Was close to skying.

Needs updating for safety. Windows are bad, grill didn’t work coffee pot does not work. The beds, were better than sleeping on the floor. We had fun though. Stairs are murder.

Our appolgies for any incoveniences you may had experienced during your stay. My grandfather built this cabin in 1981 and we aquired it the summer before last. We have been in the process of updating and remodeling over the last year. Much of the old flooring and many of the old beds have been replaced as of recently. Within the next few months the remainder of the beds will have been replaced also. The ammenities have been inspected and replaced or refurbished. It is a simple cabin that sleeps many and we want to share it everyone for a fair value. Once again we wished yout stay had been more accommodating, if in the future you were to give us another chance, we would give you a large discount.

Property needs some TLC

It is a nice cabin, but some of the decking is rotting and needs repair. Upgrade of the living room furniture wouldn’t hurt-something a little more comfortable. Otherwise, we loved it.

As advertised.

The house is older and needs some repairs on the outside steps, but overall it was just as advertised. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. The stairs inside the house are really steep and without a rail. The owner is super responsive and very pleasant. We had a booking issue that he contacted me about and addressed quickly. The large entrance area with lots of pegs for hanging coats and equipment would be perfect for ski season! The view from the house is amazing!

Needs some work

First off the view is spectacular, our biggest issue with the property was that it sleeps 16 people and there was barely enough room to park 3 vehicles and trailers.

Not enough parking

It served its purpose. Not real clean and not a lot of towels and wash clothes. Washer and dryer available though. Have stayed in cabins that had better furniture and beds. But the dining table was awesome. Steps were treacherous when carrying your stuff in and out. Not enough parking for all of our stuff. Glad we ran into the cleaning lady who told us about overflow parking on Terry Peak. Not enough toilet paper and supplies. Had to go to town and get all of that. But dishes and cooking supplies were available to use

Great get away

The cabin was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay homey and comfy. It was great to hang out on the deck and read a book. Saved a ton of money not having to eat out for every meal.

The Aztec wrestling Coaches staging area for sight seeing and wrestling

It was great clean, easy access, very roomy and comfortable. A very refreshing cool area to be able to reach out from to attractions and wrestling various schools in the area. Would do it again on a heat beat. The showers were amazing keeping up with 4 coaches 4 wives and 5 teenage girls, a real plus with so many females. Thank you to the property owners. Are. Thank you from the Aztec High School coaching staff.

Adequate

We didn’t expect anything fancy by any means, and that’s what we got. We were there about an hour early and were told it would be about 30 mins. That wasn’t a problem, we were happy to just be out of the vehicle. We were able to go in about 50 mins after originally told 30. Still not a huge deal. Walking into the cabin, the downstairs bathroom doesn’t open from the inside, so you have to have someone let you out if you shut the door. The bedroom downstairs had cobwebs in the door as soon as you walk in. The sheets were dirty and needed to be changed by us. The stairs are steep as previously stated, but steep is an understatement. It’s like ladders with carpet on them. They are STEEP!! The toilet seats in all 3 bathrooms move when you sit down, probably could stand to be replaced. The beds were comfortable, and enjoyed the rooms. Definitely was enough room for us to spread out which was nice with 5 kids. A few of the windows are broken, or very hard to open. There is NO A/C which we didn’t know until the cleaning lady told us when she left. We had to open the windows and the pollen from outside would come inside. My suitcases and kids blankets are covered with pollen, and my daughter is highly allergic. She takes immunotherapy shots every 2 weeks because of it. Thankful I had her epipen even though we didn’t need it. There was a dirty towel hanging on the back of the 2nd floor door when we came in, so didn’t use that at all. The water is SCALDING hot when it first comes out. The hot water doesn’t last long though. We got about 15 mins of hot water before it was cold. (Three and a half children showered in that time). We waited about 20 mins and had enough water to get the last 2 people through, BARELY. That was with turning the water off while washing hair, conditioning and washing body. We knew we weren’t going to spend much time there, so it was pretty much what we expected minus the water and no A/C.

Not real happy, but it was a place to sleep

Cabin for sure needs some upgrades, some windows did not work, sliding glass door leaked when it rained leaving a puddle of water on floor, the stairs are very steep and hard to climb, needs better handrails. When we went to check in had to wait nearly an hour past our check in time because the cabin was still being cleaned so after driving 20 hours to get there we were very irritated. It did have a nice view from the deck. If you just want to have a place to sleep at night and not spend much time in the cabin then it is ok

Great spot to stage from and accommodate a big group

We enjoyed this location very much. Highlights: Beautiful view, lots of beds, close to many of the adventures the Black Hills has to offer. As advertised, if you plan to spend a lot of time indoors, this is not the best pick. If you plan to be out and about and have a great place to return to for dinner, a shower, and a good night's sleep, it's a perfect spot.

When we got there the address given was incorrect anyone who stays look for the letters MRS on the front of lodge or the owl very clean very spacious loaded with many things people may forget which was nice the view was awesome spectacular 12 of us stayed there never ran out of hot water we were very happy with the lodge........a few downfalls short toilets only a few tv stations back door leaked when it rained needs a screen in sliding door no outside lights inside steps very steep without railings toaster didn't work. Otherwise we lived the place very much would we stay again HELL YEA
