Charming Lakehome Central to Superior's North Shore Attractions 2 Bed / 1 Bath

This Lakehome is located at the Lakehomes at Superior Shores, a property adjacent but not affiliated with Superior Shores Resort, and offers wonderful views of Flood Bay. You are just steps away from water with natural rock beaches and ledges. Onsite amenities include a pool and hot tub (seasonal), walking trails, and a tennis / basketball court. This unit comes fully stocked and ready for your visit. As shown in the floor plan pictures, this Lakehome is a two bedroom single level unit with direct access to the shore from the deck. The unit offers three sleeping areas a private primary bedroom by the entry (king bed), a private bedroom with direct access to the deck (queen bed), and a queen sized convertible sofa in the living room. The unit contains a bathroom including a full tub / shower and a washer and dryer in the primary bedroom . A natural gas fireplace keeps the place cozy in the winter and ample windows allow a cool lake air breeze in the summer. The spacious deck includes a grill and a patio table with seating for four. New for 2025: For more transparent pricing, there are no additional fees for cleaning or amenities.

Exciting News!: The unit is under new ownership and has undergone a significant upgrade including carpet, decorations, furniture, and refreshed amenities. The unit has hi-speed Wi-Fi, Roku streaming televisions with guest mode. We are officially registered, licensed, and have been inspected by Lake County and have an up-to-date lodging license (#1644). If you need even more space we have an adjacent three bedroom unit also on VrBO.

This was the perfect location. We will definitely stay again. We loved being close to Two Harbors and avoiding busy Duluth. Access to walk on the beach by the lake was wonderful!

Cozy Retreat in a Perfect North Shore Location

This cozy, well-stocked, and well-maintained place was the perfect home base for a North Shore weekend. The peaceful setting made for a relaxing stay, and we loved how easy it was to take day trips to Duluth and Grand Portage. Two Harbors itself is a charming town—definitely worth exploring!

Great Location

The view from the sunroom/bedroom was beautiful. The stay was very peaceful. Try Betty’s pies if you get a chance.The house was well equipped with kitchenware and bathroom towels. I would recommend this rental.

Great property right on the lake!

Very comfortable accommodations with an easy walk right down to Lake Superior. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, and owner very responsive to any questions I had. Highly recommend.

Great Location, updated interior!

Justin was a top notch host. Everything about the unit was as described. There is a rock beach just outside the door for agate hunters. Two Harbors is the gateway to the whole North Shore. The interior of the unit features recent updates. It is fresh and clean. Thanks? We will stay again!

A Dream Stay at Twin Harbors Lake Superior!

We just returned from an absolutely phenomenal trip to Two Harbors and are already dreaming of going back. The views of Lake Superior are nothing short of spectacular, creating a serene and beautiful atmosphere that was a joy to wake up to every day. The comfort of the entire property is top-notch, providing a cozy and inviting retreat after our adventures. We especially appreciated the well-appointed kitchen, which made cooking our own meals a breeze. Its fantastic accessibility to local sights made exploring the area incredibly convenient. Overall the stay was good. Seven months post knee surgery, a recliner or ottoman would have been nice. Tried to use sofa sleeper for that purpose and opened it to find mouse droppings. Nothing major a few dusty surfaces, leaky coffee pot. Probably would try again.

We had a delightful stay. Justin's place is just as described. Very clean and well appointed with all you might need. There are no stairs to enter this unit and your parking is quite close. Check-in was smooth. Having a gas fireplace was nice to warm up in the early morning chill. The bed in the master bedroom is wonderful! You are steps away from the lake and be sure to take the path along the lake to the point. Along the way you might even find the fairy village in the woods! Also, if you rise early you might be treated to a glorious sunrise.

We chose this property as it was all on one level. I'm a double below knee amputee and this property was just the right fit. Very clean and inviting. The sun room has been updated to a queen size bedroom which is very nice as you can see the lake from your bed. We had our 2 sons and daughter-in-law and our granddaughter with us. Just enough room for all of us. The sofa has a very comfortable pull out bed that my oldest son slept in. The master bedroom has a king bed which works well for those with toddlers who don't need a separate bed. We were low on towels, I texted Justin and the next morning we had the extra towels that we needed. The whole experience was very enjoyable. We'll definitely be coming back here again.

Outstanding, Really Comfortable, Well Equipped and Maintained Lakehome with a Great Owner

Our family had another top notch experience from start to finish with the owner. The reservation and check in process was smooth.This unit is clean, secure, and has been updated with new furniture, new bedding, a Roku system, K-cup coffee maker and has a deck with table and chairs.The room with skylights, also has large windows that overlook the water, and the comfortable chairs in the room can be turned to look out the windows, while you enjoy some coffee or reading.There is a washer and dryer in the unit.Parking is a short distance away - so you can move bags and groceries with ease. The lakehome is also on one floor - which is convenient and accessible.We very highly recommend this lakehome and owner.
