Cozy Cabin in the Aspens on the Fairway

Come relax & play at our newly built cabin surrounded by aspens on the fairway. If you're not into the 54 holes of golf within 2 miles, but don't want to go far- there is plenty of hiking & mountain biking trails shortly from the front door, amazing star gazing, and community access to the following: pool ($5-7, seasonal), ice skating rink (seasonal), 17 miles of groomed cross country skiing, snowshoeing & snowmobiling trails, pickleball, tennis & basketball courts, gym ($5), & parks.

One pack-n-play crib in the Bee Room, 2 floor sleep mats that can be moved where needed (one in loft, one in Moose Room.)

Other things to note:

A little of our story- This is our home away from home! We built it 90% w/ our own hands as a vacation home to enjoy w/for our daughter, since we can't travel much with her special needs. We want to share the beauty & adventure Star Valley provides with others, but expect the cabin to be respected & well-taken care of. This is not a typical nightly rental rented out regularly to make money but to share Star Valley w/ others while occasionally renting it out to cover the costs of providing a space for our family to enjoy each other. Please make sure to respect the house rules of no smoking, alcohol, pets or shoes in the cabin.

A great stay! Owners were excellent communicators when we had questions about home and surrounding area. Very spacious and clean home. Lots of basic amenities provided (dish soap, laundry pods, trash bags, paper towels, etc). We used it as home base for 2 families and headed into Jackson/The Tetons most of the week (1-1.5hr drive). Enjoyed Dad’s Steakhouse (highly recommend ) and Old Mill ice cream in Thayne. Wandered thru Afton. We golfed, and hiked locally, as well. Plenty we didn’t have time to enjoy - pool, kayaks, pickleball. Definitely would stay again, very welcoming owners and area! Incredibly beautiful!

Beautiful cabin!

We loved staying at this beautiful cabin. It was very clean and very nice. All the beds and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. We maybe only wished for some more kitchen towels. We messaged the owners at 10pm and were surprised by their quick response despite it being a late night text. The view from the back deck is beautiful! The location is great. Highly recommend!!

A little of our story- This is our home away from home! We built it 90% w/ our own hands as a vacation home to use w/ our kids & special-needs daughter, since we can’t travel much with all her equipment & needs. We want to share the beauty & adventure Star Valley provides with others, but expect the cabin to be respected & well-taken care of. This is not an Airbnb rented out regularly to make money but to share Star Valley w/ others while occasionally renting it out to cover the costs of providing a space for our family to enjoy each other on vacation.
NOTE: We do have an Owner’s Suite in the basement inaccessible to guests that will occasionally have contractors or family stay in while building a place for family nearby (only accessible from the backyard) so if you see a truck parked on the side or someone going to/from the backyard, just disregard. They won’t invade your space or bother you.

We love the access to all things outdoors so close by but within a quiet neighborhood to enjoy as well. We love golfing, trail running, mountain biking, dirtbiking, snowmobiling, pickleball, tennis, playing baseball or kickball on the many open green spaces, swimming, and enjoying quiet evenings in the trees under the stars!

The open floor plan makes family time easy, and bedrooms in the calmer downstairs keeps things warm & quiet in the Winter and cool in the summer, when most homes in Star Valley don’t have a/c. We love the big deck in the trees for outdoor gatherings and meals.
