Our place, 54 Kicking Horse, is in a 52-acre forest called Ptarmigan Village. Located on Big Mountain overlooking Whitefish Lake, 3 miles up the road to Whitefish Mountain Resort and 2 miles from the chairlifts, and 35 miles from Glacier National Park. It is beautiful! Ptarmigan Village has a large indoor pool, a summer outdoor pool an outdoor summer/winter 20 person Jacuzzi, and a private beach on Whitefish Lake for Ptarmigan visitors to use.

Best to have a car

We have stairs. To get to front door, there is a flight of stairs. We have sprial staircase inside the townhouse and used to get to 2nd + 3rd floor. We have 2 shared decks and 1 private deck. The front door leads into the bunkbed room. You can use the back door into the kitchen can be used as a main entrance door instead if more privacy for that room is desired. Pack N Play and high chair available upon advance request.

We would love to allow pets but the Association does not let us.

The checkout time is at 10 AM. A charge of $25/ half an hour will be charged for late checkouts. We need to give our cleaning crew time to clean and they start at 10 AM. If a later checkout is needed, a 48-hour notice is required for review.
