Fabulous family getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Northern Lights 3. There was plenty of room for our family (8 people) with different seating areas and 4 bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and there was lots of space for eating and serving the food. Some of us used the hot tub on the deck, we all watched a couple of Christmas movies in the media room, and we played games in the living room with the fireplace going. The driveway had room to park 2 cars which many of the other driveways didn’t. I would say 4 stars and yes, I would recommend it to others.

Family Birthday

We had a family birthday celebrating my 60th - with my children and grandchildren. Nine adults and 2 toddlers. The home was perfect. Beds for everyone, games room, media room for family movie nights, and space for everyone to be super comfortable. We hired a Private Chef - the kitchen has everything he needed to create a luxurious family celebration dinner for all. All in all - this was a 5 star experience on every level

Very solid place for larger groups. We slept 8 comfortably for a golf trip. Place was clean and overall very nice. Only negative is that the place has been warn in abit but that’s just typical wear and tear. If you are looking for luxury this probably isn’t it but for the price, location and overall place it’s very solid for families and large groups.

Family stay in Whistler

The kids loved all the extras - the hot tub, the pool table, the foosball table, the entertainment room. We wish we could have stayed longer! It was less convenient to get to the ski hill than we anticipated.

Beautiful home, shower broken

The house was beautiful, the location was great if you have a car to drop the skiers off at the bottom of the hill (walking without gear totally fine but just long and steep). 2 minutes to offload the skiers behind the Westin. Communication great, beds were comfy and really nice to have a garage. We had two issues. We were told the water was shut off the sink in the main bathroom for the two non-on suite bedrooms the day we arrived (no advanced noticed). They failed to mention that also meant the shower also didn’t work meaning 5 people were left going in and out of the other bedrooms to use their shower. Not a luxury experience. I asked for a partial refund since we likely wouldn’t have booked the place if it didn’t have that bathroom. The only returned us 50 CAD per night which was a whopping savings of 10 pp. Second issue was the hot tub was only half full. Nice stay but couple big issues for the price we paid.

It wasn’t the cleanest place. The coffee maker hadn’t been cleaned from last user and it was pretty gross. Full of mold. It’s a pretty tired unit. That said the beds were comfy. It’s pretty well stocked although we were having a turkey dinner and we didn’t have enough serving bowls or cutting board big enough for a turkey. The games room is a really nice feature although we couldn’t get Sportsnet on the v to watch the hockey game weirdly. We had a great time but it needs some serious TLC.

Nice house but not ski in/ski out

This is a very large house that's good for a group, however, it is not ski in/ski out. Your options for ski in/ski out are below: Ski in: walk 1/2 mile uphill from the base, or 500 ft downhill from the mountain plus 50 stairs plus another 800 ft downhill to the house. Ski out: walk 1/2 mile downhill to the base, or 800 ft uphill plus 50 stairs plus another 500 ft uphill to the mountain. We went later in the season so there was less snow on the road and access trail. It would be easier with snow, but still not ski in/ski out.

Perfect birthday getaway

Recently stayed here for 5 days on a milestone birthday getaway with a core group of friends and couldn't have been happier with the unit. We were surprised on how much bigger it was in person. The bedrooms were as advertised but the listing didn't quite capture how much extra living space came with it... the house is over 4 levels with three separate living areas and a heated garage with a pool table and couch. This was perfect for allowing all of us to feel like we weren't on top of each other. It was so nice to have a full kitchen to cook many of our meals in as a way to offset costs of eating in the village. Amazing location too with only a 7 minute walk downhill to the base of the gondola/heart of the village (and only a $7 cab back up to the unit... which was appreciated after a full day skiing!). Would definitely stay again.

Great Birthday Getaway

Very spacious place that is a stones throw from the village! Check In & Out process was very easy and they accommodated us in some slight re-arrangements to the sleeping situation. Will be staying here again if coming up with a big group!

Awesome 5 Floor Ski Cabin! Steam shower for the win!

This place was great! I wasn’t expecting so many different floors based on the photos, but that was a bonus! Let people spread out if they wanted to go to bed early or get up at the crack of dawn. The steam shower in the top floor master bath was over the top, made for a great wake up rejuvenation rinse!

Great Stay!

Amazing stay! We didn’t feel crammed at all and the amenities were great. When we were having issues with the hot tub, Bob sent us instructions on how to fix. The steam shower in the master bedroom was fantastic! The walk down and up to the village wasn’t bad for anyone in their 30s. Would recommend staying again!
