It is located 1 mile from Wallowa Lake and just 3 short blocks from Main Street, so you’ll be close to local shops, restaurants and charming town attractions, while enjoying the incredible view of the mountains through big picture windows.
The spacious, light-filled living area features modern decor with soft, neutral tones, providing a relaxing atmosphere for guests to unwind. The fully equipped kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances and all the amenities needed to prepare a home-cooked meal after a day of adventure.
Whether you’re looking to hike, shop, or simply relax, this rental offers the perfect balance of convenience and comfort.
There is plenty of parking for a trailer if you are hauling a boat or other recreational toys.
Please note that this is a ground floor unit, therefore it is possible that tenants will be above you.
We welcome dogs for a fee of $30 per pet, 2 dogs maximum.

If you are looking for a home away from home just blocks off of Joseph's darling main drag, this property is perfect. We used this home as a base camp for hunting and hiking adventures, and it was perfect. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. We found the kitchen well-stocked with everything you'd need to cook for yourself, though once you try the prime rib at the Stubborn Mule (Saturday nights only) or a huge portion of chicken-fried steak at the Cheyenne Cafe (to name just a couple of the myriad amazing places to eat), you may never cook for yourself on your trip. The owner, Kat, was quick and friendly in her communications and we didn't hit a single snag between planning the trip and its end. This place would be a PERFECT base camp for summertime adventures in Joseph!

Ideal base camp to explore the Wallowa Lake area with our family. Kids loved the bunk bed and the games and parents loved having them in the other end of the house. Unit is decorated enough to feel homey but still easy to keep clean and organized. Dogs loved staring at the neighborhood deer :) Thank you for sharing your space with us!

Wonderfully spacious, well-stocked, convenient location - easy walking to downtown Joseph, with a pleasant outdoor space for morning and evening sitting (although additional seating with chair backs would be even better). Great towels and there are plenty; the Washer/dryer was so useful. Beautiful view of the mountains, although it's important to strategize keeping the blinds closed during the day due to lack of a/c. Being built into a hillside helped the temperature regulation but I think increased the insects that made their way in. Overall, we loved it!

Fantastic location. Walk to dwntwn a couple of blocks. You can see the Blue property from Main St. Well Kept, clean property. Spacious tall ceilings. Door combination lock works well. All appliances in good condition. Very Clean & well lit.

Definitely returning to this lovely rental in Joseph

The spaciousness & ambiance of the lovely place welcomed us .. the view of the Wallowa Mts was a breathtaking sight from large windows. There’s cozy seating for reading/chatting or TV time. Lots of room to spread out in. Kitchen is well equipped and has plenty of counter space. Comfortable bed/ bedding made for a wonderful night’s sleep. We liked the convenience of a washer/dryer/iron too. Downtown Joseph is a short walk away & very convenient with shops, art galleries, grocery, delicious coffee spots & restaurants. Fun to chat with friendly people. We also walked to the foot Wallowa Lake and took in the majesty of it all! Loved this place and it’s accessibility!
