At this idyllic property, nestled between the mountains and the ocean, you don’t have to choose between poolside relaxation and endless adventure. It’s all right there at your fingertips.

Enter through the private electric gate into the lush surroundings of this stunning, contemporary property. Serenity House offers you gorgeous accommodations surrounded by the songs of toucans, scarlet macaws, and howler monkeys, only steps away from the conveniences of the small, intimate community of Uvita.

Open fields next to the home feature towering trees, playing host to singing parakeets, iguanas, and occasional visits from local horses. The property’s stunning landscaping includes a tall, densely-covered fence of morning glories, ensuring complete privacy. Situated to take full advantage of the morning mountain breeze from the east and the evening ocean breeze from the west, this home refreshes the soul with every breath.

Enjoy leisurely floats in the home’s private pool after a day of hiking, exploring nearby waterfalls, ziplining, or taking in the sights and sounds of beautiful Marino Ballena National Park—home of the famous Whale Tail Beach. This beach is a mere seven-minute drive from the property, with Playa Hermosa—another famed Costa Rican beach—a mere five-minute drive. As you wind down from your day, consider a visit to Whale Tail Brewery, located just down the street, for a delicious, fresh meal accompanied by karaoke on Thursday nights and live music on the weekends.

Choose between numerous fantastic restaurants within walking distance of SHU, including several right up the road at Uvita Gastro Park, or cook up a tasty meal in the fully-stocked kitchen, enjoying it poolside or inside the fully air-conditioned home.

Air-conditioned bedrooms with comfy beds and soft sheets provide a good night's sleep after a day of exploring, swimming, shopping, or just hanging out by the pool. If you’re hooked on the latest Netflix show, you can snuggle in bed to enjoy it, as each bedroom has a TV with multiple streaming options.

Accommodations
The stunning, fully-stocked kitchen includes a dishwasher/soap, pots and pans, cooking utensils, spices, coffee pot, coffee press, tea kettle, toaster, hand mixer, plates, bowls, glasses, coffee cups, etc. Coffee will be provided.

There are two bedrooms each equipped with a queen-sized bed, TV, and its own full bath and balcony. Hairdryers, shampoo, conditioner, soap, hairdryers, washcloths, and towels are provided in each bathroom. There is a sofa bed located in the common area of the second floor and a half bath downstairs.

The living area comfortably seats four with a 42-inch TV available for your viewing pleasure.

The laundry room is equipped with a washer and dryer, laundry soap, iron, and ironing board.

*** IMPORTANT NOTE:
While this home sleeps six, it will COMFORTABLY accommodate four people. We have a sofa bed upstairs in the small common area, so guests can spread out if need be. Serenity House has a strict guest limit of six, but a recommended capacity of four.

Use of the pool is at your own risk.

Subletting of this property is STRICTLY prohibited. Only reported guests can enter the house.

Security cameras are on the outside of the home. They are installed on the front and back decks. There are no cameras inside.

Pets allowed. We love our pets and know you do too! If you bring them along, please clean up after them inside and out. Pet supplies such as food and water bowls and poop bags are provided. No cats please.

Parties and smoking (inside the home) are strictly prohibited.
