GLTer. Good day and welcome to the remote Hala Hideway! Surround yourself with nature! 3 bd/2 bth perfect for family or a group of friends. Main level has a wood fireplace and serene mountain views. Ground level en suite has its own private entrance and deck with mountain view. Not a fan of bugs? We have a screened in porch! Minutes away from Fontana Dam, the AT, Tail of the Dragon and downtown Robbinsville. Easy gravel road. Fully equipped kitchen! Percent of your stay goes to a local charity!
The space
Both decks have rocking chairs for your morning tea or coffee. There is a charcoal grill available for use. Charcoal and other lighting options are not provided but can be purchased at the local Ingles. Relax in our screened in porch equipped with a ceiling fan and patio furniture. Washer and dryer are available in the ground floor en suite that has a private, separate entrance from the main level. This means you are NOT able to access this space from the main level.

Yes pets are allowed with written permission. Please be sure to inquire. There is an associated pet fee. Dogs under the age of one are not permitted. There will be a $100 pet fee for those who bring pets without permission.

A percent of your stay goes to a local charity of your choosing! Valley River Humane Society located in Murphy or Celebrate Grace which goes to helping families with addiction in Robbinsville. Just sign our book and let us know your preference.

Also note, cell service is not a readily available for most carriers at the cabin. Google's service seems to work regularly, Verizon recently started working regularly while other carriers work sporadically. To gain service, you will either need to drive to the top of the road or down the road 5 minutes. You can have a phone number forwarded to the landline. Please let me know if you would like this option.

The neighborhood road is gravel and single lane. The driveway can accommodate two vehicles. Trailers may be difficult maneuvering out of the driveway. More parking may be available; please inquire before.

Graham County, where this cabin resides, is currently a dry county but starting January 2022 it will no longer be! We will provide a complimentary bottle of wine for guest 30 years of age and older of extended stays. Head over to the NOC or Bryson City where you can buy craft beer to take home or Wehrloom Meadery for some mead.tly

Please bring your own grilling supplies.

Cabin is on a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. Any clogged items or septic problems caused by in proper items being flushed will be passed on to renters.
