Dieses Haus ist eines der ersten, das auf dem Pic Paradis gebaut wurde und dem typisch westindischen Charme verleiht. Das Obergeschoss erstreckt sich ĂŒber zwei Ebenen und bietet zwei helle und luftige Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad sowie ein gemeinsames GĂ€ste-WC, ein zentrales Wohnzimmer mit einem 55-Zoll-Smart-TV mit amerikanischem Kabel und Netflix, Highspeed-Internetzugang, eine voll ausgestattete KĂŒche und einen Gasgrill . The Most Magical Place to Stay in St. Martin

My husband and I were lucky enough to enjoy three nights at Tess and Hugh's vacation rental for our last-minute babymoon, and it was quite simply the most magical place to stay in St. Martin. We did NOT want to leave! Beautifully decorated, comfortable and homey, fully-stocked and the views from the house, decks and pool were simply magical. Hugh met us upon arrival to show us around, and give us the most wonderful recommendation to join them for an easy dinner just up the road at their hotel restaurant. They were quickly accessible via text when we had a water issue pop up and addressed it immediately!You must be OK being a bit removed - it was a 10-15 min drive to the closest beach, Marigot or Grand Case for restaurants/groceries/shops - and would definitely recommend renting an SUV to make the climb up the road easier and more comfortable - but if you are looking for a peaceful retreat, this is your PLACE! Also, the driveway is quite steep with steep stairs to enter the main living floor of the home so also would not work for people with accessibility issues.My husband and I are laughing writing such glorious things about this magical stay in the trees because we don't want the word to get out so we can have a return stay but if you are looking for a peaceful, serene, private, quiet, beautiful place to stay on the French side of St. Martin, you will NOT go wrong staying here at Pic Paradis!

Absolutely do not miss this spot

There are many many reasons to love this property and choose to spend time here. The house and the grounds are outstanding, clean and beyond picturesque. We had no idea that this jungle environment existed in St Martin, the neighborhood and yard had such gorgeous flora and fauna. Between the flowers, fruit trees, well behaved monkeys and what looked like a dragon but was most likely an iguana, there was always opportunity to appreciate your surroundings. Refreshing pool dips after a hot beach day and meals in the well equipped kitchen were equally as appreciated as a cocktail on the patio before a dinner date to Grand Case and watching the sun set from a LITERALLY unparalleled viewpoint. Before all that, it needs to be said that Hugh and Tess are master class hosts. It isn't just that they are responsive and friendly, it's the hints and tips they provide for things to do; a bit less orthodox and deep than simply listing random nearby restaurants or tourist traps. Most of all, they are NEARBY and willing to help immediately if anything is needed. We've had plenty of awesome hosts that delivered when there was a situation,but more often than not, they are out of the country and have to call a property manager who has to call someone else just to answer a simple question about the property. There is just no replacement for what Hugh and Tess provide, it just happens to be that they have one of the best houses we've ever stayed at after 7 St Martin trips.

Wonderful Time in St. Martin

First of all the house was gorgeous and wonderfully situated on top of the hillside with views in all directions. The interior is designed well to accommodate many adults with ample privacy and communal space. The photos on-line don't show how big and spacious the balconies, the pool deck and delightful daybed are for relaxing. Our hosts, Hugh and Tess, were lovely and have decorated the home beautifully with some amazing heirloom pieces. They have stocked the household with all the little things you forgot (or couldn't travel with) including fully supplied kitchen, laundry and bathrooms. Although a car is an added expense, it is a must to tour the island - which can be done in a weeks time. We found the island to be in a state of recovery - but that said still plenty of things to do and easily navigated. The locals are kind and very welcoming and ready to assist with directions and suggestions. We would highly recommend this property and the island of St. Martin.

Fantastic stay with gorgeous views!

House was everything we had hoped for when we booked. Pool deck was great to sit at and have coffee in the morning. Kitchen was well stocked. Owners were great and had some great advice for the island. I lost our set of keys to the house, but owners were understanding and got us a new key the next day. US visitors, don't forget to pack your european chargers. Was something we never thought about when booking. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location, & superb accommodation.

Pic Paradis really is a paradise high above the hustle and bustle of French St Martin. We have found in the many years we have been going to St Martin (St Maarten), the French side is by far the best side of the island. The property is very private with secluded gardens full of tropical plants. The huge terrace overlooks the most amazing views of the island. All the living spaces are very spacious, beautifully decorated and in great condition. It was a fantastic holiday - the owners certainly know how to run this house properly and were lovely.

Best views on the island

We had a wonderful time staying in this villa. It was only a 5-10 minute drive to beautiful beaches and a 2 minute drive to Loterie Farms which was a lot of fun. Not only was this place in a great location, but it was quiet and serene which was much needed after days spent exploring/swimming. Tess and Hugh are excellent hosts and have great recommendations for places to go. We're looking forward to coming back!

Pic Paradis is off the beaten path, and that's why we love it! Even though you are minutes from a beach, once you are up the hill you will find yourself surrounded by lush vegetation. Perched above the westerly side of the island, from the breezy terrace, you're guaranteed spectacular sunsets every evening. A 'sundowner' never tasted so good. This exclusive neighborhood is centrally located, so nothing is very far away. Up here, you will feel like you've gotten away from it all.

At the bottom of the hill, only 2 minutes away, is the famous Loterie Farm, offering Pool lounge, restaurants, bar, zip-lining, and hiking trails. A 5 minute drive will take you to Friars Beach and the secluded Happy Bay Beach. In just 10 minutes, you could be strolling the streets of Marigot or enjoying fine dining in Grand Case. From this sanctuary, nothing is more than 25 mins away.

Villa Paradis is one of the first homes to be built on Pic Paradis, giving it typical West Indian charm. Tastefully decorated with all the modern amenities, the cozy atmosphere will have you feeling right at home. It is ideal for multi-generational family trips, groups of friends, or even couples looking to splurge on a truly unique and romantic experience. The fact that the villa features two autonomous levels is perfect for those wanting individual space while still being close on the same property.
Split on two levels, the upstairs features two light and airy bedrooms with private bathrooms plus a shared guest toilet, a central living room with a 55'' smart tv including Netflix, High speed internet, a fully equipped kitchen, and BBQ. The main terrace features an 8 person dining room table and panoramic views of St. Martin/St. Maarten and neighboring islands!
Just below the terrace, on the ground floor, is the pool deck. Work on your tan while lounging on the daybed or take a swim in the heated pool, all while gazing at the beautiful views Pic Paradis has to offer.
The downstairs is a one bedroom with private bathroom and en-suite bar/games room, a second kitchen and even a cinema room including a collection of 500+ dvds. All this sits on a big yard full of tropical greenery including a variety of fruit trees.
Pic Paradis is truly one of the most beautiful places on the island. The sense of peace and privacy is unbeatable, not to mention very romantic. Up here, you feel removed from all of the stress of the world, yet, you are only 10-20 mins away from everything the island has to offer.
