Lovely spot on Rangeley Lake. Our host was responsive/attentive and the property met our needs. The house could use a bit of TLC, but nothing that detracted from our wonderful vacation.

This cabin did not look anything like the pictures in the listing. It appears that the listing used old photos when carpets and furniture were new. We were disappointed with the condition of the cabin. The location of this property was great and we loved kayaking around the lake. Area restaurants were very good.

Absolutely perfect spot on Rangeley Lake! Private area! Had all our needs and then some! Owner extremely cooperative! Would love to make it a yearly stay!

Beautiful week on Rangeley Lake

Although we had an uncomfortable first day due to the heat and lack of air movement, that was quickly remedied and the rest of the week was lovely. The location is good and the kitchen is well equipped. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Wonderful lake front location

Great location on Rangley Lake. My wife and I, along with two of our friends, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, private lot with great lake views. Nice dock for sunning and diving into the crystal clear water. Location couldn’t be better. House was clean and well stocked. Perfect for 4 adults. Could easily accommodate 4 additional kids. Only complaints: recliners in living room should be replaced; house could use additional ventilation. Other than that, a near perfect lakefront getaway

A total gem of a find!

This house was so much better than we had imagined! My boyfriend and I had all of 6 our kids up ranging from 6-15yo. There was enough space for everyone! We thoroughly enjoyed the dock and lake access - which was shallow enough for the kids to play around in... searching for hours for crayfish, utilizing the kayaks on the property and just jumping around. The neighbors were really friendly too. We were a short-distance to town and dinners at Furbish and ice cream. The kids got to participate in the Fishing Derby (and our 6yo even caught a fish!). We were fortunate to rent a boat to enjoy the lake even more... but I don't think that is totally necessary, if people can't afford it. It gave us more to do but we found a lot to do just on the property. The firepit by the lake was awesome at night and the deck was super relazing to chill out on. The only one thing I would suggest or wish the house had was screens for all the windows facing the lake... the breeze was so nice at night but the house got super stuffy. All in all, we wouuld go back again in a heartbeat - even tried extanding our trip, but it was booked. Jack was super responsive and kind when we had a few questions. He was definitely a super-host! We hope you enjoy your trip... worht the 4+ hour drive for us :)

Secluded and very quiet. Close to all the things you need in Oquossoc. Be prepared for cooler weather ...yes even in July. Temps in the mornings were in the 40's with winds of 20mph, but warmed up to the mid 60's. Home has all the toys you would need to have a great stay, and plenty of room of family or friends!

A wonderful week in Oquossoc

The house and the setting are lovely. We were there with our daughter and son-in-law and their two young children. We had a room with full bath on the upper level and they had the two bedrooms on the main level with full bath. A perfect set up for an extended family. The kitchen was well-appointed, and the house was directly on the water with very easy access and beautiful views. Multiple kayaks/canoes were provided. The house was clean, but could use a bit of maintenance (screen door patched with tape). It is within walking distance to the village of Oquossoc - a definite plus (lovely town). I would definitely go back again!

Great place with everything you need. Lake access is perfect for younger children to walk in easily.

Peaceful Lake house

This house and the scenery is beautiful. The house was equipped with everything that you could ask for for a big family vacation. Jack was quick to respond to any questions, very friendly and polite. We highly recommend this place!

Perfect lakefront property

Very comfortable house for 5 adults. We loved having morning coffee on the deck, sitting on the pier, and kayaking along the shore. The weather was a little cool, so next time we will plan a mid-summer vacation! Jack was extremely responsive and attended to the few hiccups we experienced. Will definitely come back!

Nice place for a relaxing time!

The property was just as described, and actually closer to the water than we expected. We enjoyed using the dock to rent a boat for the day, and made use of the plentiful kayaks. The fire pit was great and there was a huge supply of wood. The Rangeley area is beautiful, and we found plenty of activities when we weren’t just relaxing . Jack was very responsive when we reached out to him with a few questions. Nice place - we would definitely stay again

House was clean and well equipped inside and out with a large selection of kayaks big and small to have fun with on the lake. Private waterfront and beautiful new dock. Had some electrical issues during our stay, the owner was very responsive. Can’t wait to go back!

Incredible Lakefront Property

My family had the most enjoyable vacation. This lakefront property was everything described in the listing and much more. We had so much fun from start to finish. The lake was so clean, surprisingly warm and so relaxing. Loved kayaking and viewing the sunset from the lake. Kitchen was fully loaded with everything you could possibly need. Home was very clean. Easy place to settle in and make lasting memories with friends and family. Thank you for everything Jack!!

Rangeley Life

Cabin was very cute and clean with a well equipped kitchen. The location was amazing, right on the water. We enjoyed the private water front, kayaks and dock. Beautiful deck overlooking the lake for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. Close to the little village for supplies and boat rentals. Can’t wait to come back!

Relaxing lakefront home

This wonderful lakefront home was exactly as advertised. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and plates, as well as a clean empty refrigerator to store our food. The property is private and we made use of the five available kayaks every day. Rangeley Lake is crystal clear, but a little cold and perfect for kayaking. There are a lot of trails nearby for hiking. We visited Smalls Falls, Angel Falls, the Cascade Stream Gorge trail and Bald mountain. And we saw a moose on our first day! Take note that the town restaurants close fairly early. Great place to visit!

Cozy Cabin on the lake

Five Stars for this Cozy Cabin. Beautiful spot on Rangeley Lake. This house was very Private and peaceful. Also very clean and comfortable . Jack was very helpful with answering any questions. My wife and kids didn't want to leave. We are already planning our return for this summer and plan on bringing our boat.
