As usual, we enjoyed our stay at the Artist. The host is most accommodating! We enjoy the location, as it is close to many nice restaurants and entertainment. The heated pool is a must for us and never disappoints. A true delight to escape the Ohio weather in February.

Great place to get away from Ohio winters

Love the neighborhood and the convenience to restaurants and shopping. We really enjoy the private pool. The owners are very accommodating, as is their property manager. All around great place for snowbirds.

Very Pleased

Perfect for 3 old friends to have a reunion. Plenty of space, very clean, very well equipped, lovely outdoor seating for lounging and dining, extremely convenient location, and even nice neighbors! Property manager was very helpful and was quick to respond and follow up. Owner was very accommodating as was property manager. Recommend highly.

The Artist is an oasis of serenity

This home on the canal is like a private top spa with luxurious tasteful design , amazing art & spa facilities like pool and amazing jacuzzi and showers . It truly was an oasis of calm & beauty to relax & renew our spirits. It’s such a beautiful & inspirational space with a dock on the canal . Thank you . We loved it ! Highly recommend! Best overall experience in Cape Coral in 6 years

From day one, the property manager and the owner were very attentive to our needs. The owner even called us a few times from Germany to make sure we were able to use the pool heater. The location was very convenient to activities, shopping, and restaurants. The house was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. It was so perfect we have already booked next year!

Immaculate...

Shiny floors, clean bedding and spotless windows that overlooked the canal to the south. Beautiful original artwork adorned the walls. Set in a residential area with many canals and close grocery stores. The spacious house is adequately furnished for a fun vacation. A crystal clear modern pool, comfortable lawn furniture, a relaxing canal-side patio and a propane grill. The kitchen is well equipped, including a 12 cup Mr. Coffee coffeemaker. We found in the cabinets and drawers: salt/pepper, aluminum foil, zip locs and a roll of paper towel. The climate control inside the house enhanced our comfort. We were told of the 2 external cameras: ring doorbell and one overlooking the canal. WIFI was strong. Tanya, the property manager, was very friendly and helpful, especially regarding pool functions. What to bring: pool floaties, a meat thermometer and add ice to your grocery list. We highly recommend this VRBO.

Traumhaft

Wir waren zwei Wochen in diesem Traumhaus und haben uns sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt . Das Haus ist Perfekt ausgestattet , es hat uns an nichts gefehlt . Die Lage ist perfekt der Pool Traumhaft .Besser geht einfach nicht !! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe. Wir wollten überhaupt nicht mehr Nachhause . Würden jeder Zeit wieder Urlaub in diesem sehr sehr schönen Haus machen.. Wir sagen einfach nur Danke und unser Dank gilt auch den sehr freundlichen Vermietern.

Quiet, relaxing oasis

We spend 6 weeks at the property and loved every minute of it. The outdoor dining, pool and seating by the waterway were our favourite places to be. It was truly the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. The home was well equipped and we cooked most of our meals at home trying to avoid crowds and public places due to COVID. We had curbside pickup for our groceries and ordered takeout occasionally. We felt extremely safe in this quiet neighbourhood . Additionally, the location of the property was central to many amenities. We had excellent service from Peter the property manager who was readily available and informative. Best Vacation Ever!!

This was a huge Christmas surprise for my mother! I brought her to the "Artist Villa" to spend Two weeks on her dream vacation! To say our stay was perfect is an understatement! From the minute we arrived, the owners and property manager were all amazing! They were prompt, curtious and very attentive to anything we needed or had questions about! The home is absolutely stunning, very spacious and very well equipped with anything you could possibly need! The huge back porch with view of the Canal was so relaxing as we spent most of our evenings there! We didn't experience any problems during our stay, simply pure bliss! We also enjoyed seeing all of Gaby's beautiful artwork! Such an amazing artist! Needless to say it far exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return to the Villa! Thank you Wolfgang and Gaby for allowing us to make your home ours for 2 weeks! Simply awesome!!

Lovely Villa with a lovely view

We stayed here for two weeks in December 2021. The Villa is in a great location with lovely views out across the waterway. Some of our neighbours took their boats out most days. There is everything in the Villa that you could wish for. The kitchen is very well stocked with cutlery, pots and pans etc., The whole house has been very well decorated by the owners, We would certainly stay there again. The Property Manager, Peter, is very helpful and always on hand if you need to call him about anything. Thanks again to him and to Wolfgang and Gaby who made the booking process very easy. Enjoyed Our Stay

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at the “Villa Artist.” We enjoyed the beautiful house, the neighborhood, our morning walks, the pool, the location of the home in Cape Coral. There are numerous beaches, restaurants and golf courses within a short drive. There were a few minor hick ups during our stay, and they were quickly addressed by the owner Wolfgang and the property manager Peter. Thank you! We would definitely consider renting this villa again in the future.

Very nice property, well maintained. The location is great with stores restaurants etc. etc. very close by. We had a couple of minor issues and the property manager took care of those that same day that we called. He was very nice to work with. It felt like our home away from home.

Great Covid safe babymoon getaway

We came for a three week vacation/work from home trip to get some sun and warmth and our stay was fantastic! We’re being cautious with social distancing and the hosts were very accommodating with an easy check-in and check-out process and the house was incredibly clean. There were great grocery delivery and restaurant delivery options and the house had everything we needed!

Relaxing stay at the ‘Artist’ house

The property is nicely laid out and spread out with a wonderful cross breeze from front to back - everything is screened so that you can leave the patio door sliders open and the front doors open (screened in vestibule). We started every morning and ended every evening at the poolside patio table. We brought our tri-toon and used the dock to tie off - we took the boat out to the gulf almost everyday. You cannot leave the empty trailer in the front (city ordinance) but there are plenty of storage lots around for a temp storage spot.

Feels Like Home

We have stayed at The Artist a few times now. A lovely house layout and pool area. Decorated with original art. Close to restaurants, shopping. Good walking and biking neighborhood. New appliances and a great kitchen to work in! Yard is well kept and there is a beautiful sitting area on the canal. Emina, the property manager, was accommodating and helpful.

Absolutely Perfect!

We loved staying at this home. We loved it so much we have booked it again for next year. The home is very clean, spacious, and has everything you need. The house is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. It was very easy to get to anything place we wanted to go. Emina , who checked us in, was one of the nicest people we have ever met. She gave us lots of suggestions as to where to eat and things to do. If we did have any questions, she or Wolfgang answered them promptly.

Lovely Home

Lovely home on a canal. Home decorated with beautiful, original paintings. A smaller pool, which was perfect for us. Clean, spacious and nicely landscaped. Ivo, the property manager was helpful and prompt. We discovered several exceptional restaurants in the area. Geat vacation home!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at ' The Artist' Villa. It was spacious, clean and provided everything we needed and more. Our manager, Ivo, was very welcoming and helpful. He even left us a bottle of wine upon our arrival. The owners who live in Germany, communicated very well with us and made sure we were comfortable . We were lucky to have warm weather so we never had to use the pool heater. Every morning we walked the neighborhood and talked with a few neighbors. Very relaxing, great home just what we needed.

Absolutely enjoyed the open feeling of this home. It had everything we needed. My husband enjoyed fishing in the mornings. Thank you for the recommendation for places to eat and listen to music. The beds were comfortable, however the one in the master suite made lots of creeking sounds when you get in and out of it. Always afraid that I was waking my husband as I get up several times at night. We would come back again although my husband would've liked if cable TV was available as he is a sports nut. Likes to catch up with which football teams won and the highlights in the morning and evening. The property manager Ivo was absolutely wonderful, made us feel very welcomed and and at home.

With fubo you can watch more than 20 channels of all current sports events on our TV. We are very sorry that you did not find the access. We will do everything possible to make this easier to find in the future.

A lovely home, spacious, clean.

We enjoyed our four week stay at "The Artist". The home was clean, spacious and open, with a southern canal exposure. Lovely art and mural. The pool was smaller...more of a "dipper" than a "lapper"... but was perfect for us. The lanai area was lovely and the property was well-maintained. Close to amenities. Ivo, the property manager was very helpful and informative. Quiet area with nice neighbors. TV reception had some interruptions.

Wonderful home! Two weeks of quiet and privacy.

Blessed by perfect weather, we enjoyed staying in The Artist. The home is spacious and well appointed. The pool, lanai, and patio have a private orientation. Ivo, the property manager, is great. Perfection!

Villa "The Artist" Cape Coral - Very Nice Property

Very nice open floor plan and pool area with lounge chairs, outdoor grill and table for dining that was under roof cover. Sliding glass doors from the inside living areas open to the pool. Large TV but reception on internet TV was sporadic at times. The property is clean and well maintained. Outside grounds are well kept. The care taker was very accommodating and attentive to any issues. While the house is not on the beach, the neighborhood was quiet and the location was convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would consider booking again.

Wir sind ein jung gebliebenes, pensioniertes Ehepaar und leben am Fuß des Schwarzwalds in Deutschland. Wir arbeiteten über 30 Jahre im internationalen europäischen Antik Business, sie zusätzlich als freie Künstlerin.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Über 20 Jahre suchten wir nach einem Feriendomizil in Europa. 2011 kamen wir zum ersten Mal nach Florida und Cape Coral. Bei unserem zweiten Besuch in 2012 stand fest, hier ist der Platz, wo wir die Ferien in Zukunft verbringen möchten.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

Als wir dieses Haus zum ersten Mal mit der Maklerin betraten, spürten wir sofort die positive Energie. Wir hatten das Gefühl, hier schon unser halbes Leben verbracht zu haben. Wir waren sicher, das ist unser kleines Paradies und hatten gar keine andere Chance als dieses Haus zu kaufen. Diese Aura wirkt jedes Mal wieder auf uns, wenn wir zurückkommen. Auch viele unserer Gäste berichten uns von demselben Phaenomen.
