Pine Island is a beautiful 8-acre island, with an adjacent ¼ acre “Little Pine Island”. The island raises 80 feet above The River affording spectacular views from the grounds and every room and window in the main house.
Pine Island has beautiful granite outcroppings, fields of grass and flowers, a hemlock grove, and a wide variety of mature impressive trees. There are many places to relax and enjoy the views.

The Docks
There are 4 covered docks, each with deep water for boats. There are two additional uncovered slips. The dock complex also includes a Dock house which can sleep up to four (1 Q, 2Twin). The Dock house as an outside private shower and adjacent half bathroom. The are ample lights on the docks to make navigating to Pine Island straightforward, even at night.

The House
The stately and spacious main house main house comfortably sleeps 10 guests, with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths all rooms offering views of ships and nature. Soak in the breathtaking scenery from every angle. This island home has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable and memorable including central air conditioning, welcoming beds and luxurious linens.
The main house is meticulously maintained and well-built with hardwood floors and many added details and finishes. Enter into the large gourmet kitchen with cabinetry and woodwork. Both are elegantly done, modern, and functional for many guests and visitors.
This island offers ample space for entertaining with a large living room and formal dining room. Or if you prefer, enjoy your meals in the specially built large gazebo, among hardwood trees and perennials, with views of passing big ships and many other islands.
Special Features
The Main House has two spectacular decks-one facing west towards Lake Ontario with breathtaking views of other islands, the US mainland, and the St Lawrence Seaway shipping channel where freighter, tankers and hundreds of boats pass by all day.
The other deck is a custom-built covered porch with views “down river” across scores of islands, the Bridge from the US to Canada, and the shipping channel.
Pine Island has excellent cell phone service, a dedicated microwave high-speed internet line, a 40KW automatic generator set, its own water filtration plant, and environmentally considerate disposal systems.
Pine Island has a six wheel “gator” to make transporting people, baggage, groceries, and what-have-you from the docks to the house.
Pine Island comes with your own personal concierge to help create your unique adventures and experiences taking advantage of the sapphire blue waters of NY and Canada.
Transportation
Pine Island is, of course, an island. There is no public transportation to Pine Island. There are private “water taxi” services available. Boat rentals are also offered nearby on the mainland.
When you want dinner out or a shopping trip, Pine Island is about a 7-minute boat ride from mainland Clayton. Pine Island will have a slip available at Northern Marine on the mainland, which is where you can leave your car. There are town docks in Clayton NY and most other towns on The River for visitors.
