Spacious Modern Villa with Pool in Great Location On Silver Coast

Spacious modern villa with shared pool and rural views to Foz do Arelho village. The beach is a 15-20 min walk where you will find a promenade and a large sandy beach which borders the ocean and the lagoon; there are beach bars and restaurants along the promenade, all great for watching the sunsets. The villa is a short walk to the village centre which has a bank, shops, cafes and restaurants. Comfortable and contemporary, the villa has 3 double bedrooms, 2 with ensuite and double balconies, there is a large fully fitted kitchen with all amenities. Outside there is plenty of space with a bbq and dining area, sunloungers are provided for relaxing around the pool. The villa is built and furnished to a high standard throughout and provides comfortable accommodation. There is something here for all ages. Cot and highchair are provided. There is a fire in the lounge for cosy evenings should you want to rent in the winter months. (There will be a separate charge for heating in winter). The property is also fully licensed in compliance with Portuguese law, registration no:15337/AL

Local Activities: Obidos lagoon beach is a 15-20min walk (3mins by car) which is wide and sandy, further on the beach meets the Atlantic rollers which is great for surfing. There are great selection of beach bars and restaurants offering local caught fresh fish and a sailing school on the lagoon where sailing, windsurfing and kayaking are available. There are also other surfing schools along the coast nearby. The village centre is a short stroll with all local amenities. For more shopping including several large supermarkets, fresh produce markets and shopping centres Caldas da Rainha is 8km. Obidos walled village is 12km. Lisbon is around 80km by motorway.

There are numerous golf courses within the area, including CampoReal Golf in Torres Vedras, Praia del Rey, Royal Obidos (deigned by Seve Ballesteros), Golden Eagle in Rio Maior and Bom Sucesso. Most are within 30minutes drive.

We had a great holiday on the Silver Coast. House was very well equipped, spacious with the added bonus of the pool. Lots of lovely, clean, Sandy beaches close by for surfing and playing. Ideal family holiday location.

Our 2nd visit in a year!!

Our second year in a row! Simply love the area and the relaxed feel of Foz da Arelho. The accommodation is wonderful -spacious, comfortable and well equipped......Perfect for a quiet private family holiday without the throng of tourists. Loved the pool and the option to lounge around on days when we wanted to just to chill! Most of our beach days were spent at Foz or nearby Peniche. In Foz, the restaurants are nearby and cheap. We eat out on most nights for an adult party of 4 for approx.€100 per night. There is not a huge variety of restaurants but what are there are very good We will be returning

A lovely villa located close to village centre and shops

We returned to Foz after a visit 5 years ago because as a family holiday it offers pretty much everything we need. It's (relatively) undiscovered, meaning you holiday mainly alongside the Portuguese but we noticed more English and French voices on this trip. The beaches (lagoon and Atlantic) are fantastic, there are plenty of lovely restaurants, places to explore nearby and we consider it excellent value for money. The villa was great, very spacious, clean and filled with everything we needed for our 2 weeks. We hired a car but you can do Foz without as the villa is a short walk to shops and 20 mins to beaches. Overall a great place and if the mist is kind some very warm days can be enjoyed!

Foz do Alehro

Stayed at the villa for just under 3 weeks. Communication with Robert was excellent and he promptly answered our questions when required. The accommodation is excellent! The best that we have stayed in. The villa is large, spacious and really well equipped. Mornings and evenings spent on the balconies were a particular favourite. Supermarkets are nearby should you wish to stock up and eat in. Foz do Alehro is wonderful. Quiet, undeveloped and still not sufficiently on the tourist map to ever be overcrowded. Ideal for beach or lazy days by the pool and visits to Lisbon if you want to explore the capital. The local surf school is also worthy of a recommendation should you or family members want to give it a go. Our 2 sons had 5 lessons and loved it. We have never visited Portugal and found the region to be friendly and so cheap when compared to the rest of Europe. Will definitely return! Simply loved our stay and holiday.

Great stay in October 2021!

After the 1st week at the Algarve, we spent the 2nd week here in Foz do Arelho. Since we have known the area and Foz very well for years - it was almost like coming home. Also in the villa! We felt “at home” from day one. The house is modern, spacious and well equipped. The WiFi connection is very good > suitable for streaming, zoom meetings or a teenager's contact with her friends (smile!). There are restaurants, small supermarkets within walking distance and the end of the lagoon road is only 2.4 KM away. (A nice route for a walk or a morning run.) Nevertheless: For a holiday in Foz you need a car: The place is about 1 hour from Lisbon. And especially if you want to see other beautiful places at the "Silver Coast" or use a large supermarket, for example. Thanks to the owner that everything was great and for the hospitality. We didn't need to contact the agency. We can definitely imagine coming back...

Beautifully presented and spacious villa

We stayed in this gorgeous villa for a family holiday with two parents and two grown-up daughters. The property is very spacious with separate bathroom facilities and sledping areas for every bedroom that allowed everyone plenty of space and privacy, while the TV area and dining table offered room for cozy evenings together. We practically had the pool outside to ourselves and the sea with a lovely beach as well as a supermarket in walking distance. As we didn't quite manage to see all the amazing sights the area had to offer we hope to return and stay in the property again in the future. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful, we look forward to returning to Foz do Arelho and the villa soon!

Schönes Ferienhaus für Familien

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt im gut ausgestatteten und offen gestalteten Ferienhaus. Es sind alle wichtigen Dinge in Küche (Geschirr, Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, ...) und Haus vorhanden bzw. in gutem Zustand. Die Tischtennisplatte und der Zugang zur Tiefgarage befinden sich im Keller. Sandspielzeug, Schirm und Windfang für den Standbesuch waren ebenso vorhanden. Internationaler TV-Empfang war angenehm und stabiles WLAN gab es in den meisten Zimmern. Die gemeinsame Nutzung des Pools mit den weiteren Urlaubern der anderen Häuser war unproblematisch. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern lief reibungslos, verbindlich und schnell. Ein kleiner Supermarkt liegt wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Zu empfehlen sind einige Restaurants im nahen Umfeld (Tibino und Cocos Beach am Strand). Strand und Familienlagune sind herrlich und auch für kleinere Kinder zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Großzügige, saubere Villa in toller Lage

Sehr schöne Villa, auch im Winter empfehlenswert, da sie neben dem gängigen Pelletofen auch eine gut funktionierende Gaszentralheizung hat. Das kostet zwar mehr, worüber uns die Besitzer auch vorher korrekt informiert haben, war aber an manchen Tagen doch ein willkommener Zusatz-Wärmespender. Die Villa hat alles, was man für einen schönen Ulaub braucht. Der Ort ist sehr schön, mit einer wunderschönen Strandpromenade, die auch im Winter lockt. Überhaupt waren die Weihnachtsfeiertage in Portugal deutlich entspannter als in Deutschland. Wetter sonnig, 15 - 24°. Die Villa liegt perfekt für verschiedene Ausflugsziele, Lissabon, Peniche, Obidos usw.

Ein Haus, dass keine Wünsche offen lässt

Ein sehr geräumiges und helles Haus. Bei der Ausstattung hat es an nichts gemangelt. Es gibt mehrere Terassen, die je nach Ausrichtung der Sonne genutzt werden können. Das Haus gehört zu einer Gruppe von 4 Objekten, die den innen liegenden Pool gemeinsam nutzen. Es liegt in einer recht ruhigen Seitenstrasse. Preis und Leistung stimmen hier sehr.

Sehr zufrieden

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in den hellen und freundlichen Räumlichkeiten. Das Haus ist gut mit Büchern, Spielen, etc. ausgestattet; in der Küche findet man alles, was man braucht, um eine große Familie zu versorgen. Die Betten sind bequem. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Der Pool war sehr sauber und wurde gerne von uns - insbesondere den Kindern - genutzt. In der Umgebung fanden wir gute Restaurants. Der Strand mit seinem feinen Sand und den rauen Wellen ist wunderbar.

Sehr großes, schönes Haus

Leider war es im Juni noch nicht warm genug um die schönen Balkone und den Swimmingpool zu nutzen . Bei 18-22 Grad mir Wind war es dazu zu kühl. Aber die Lage im kleinen Ort Foz ist sehr gut, eher ruhig. Die Lagune und der Atlantik waren fantastisch und es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um schöne Ausflüge zu machen. Das Haus an sich ist sehr gut ausgestattet, viel Spaß hat die Tischtennisplatte im Keller gemacht. In den Bädern sieht man schon kleinere Mängel, wie Rost am Heizkörper , Duscheinfassungen aufgequollen , Duschschlauch verschimmelt. Wir würden wiederkommen, wenn das Wetter dann auch besser wäre.

Vielen Dank für die Bewertung, es ist eine Schande über das Wetter, es ist normalerweise heiß im Juni. Unser Manager, kurz vor Ihrem Aufenthalt, hat uns auf das Problem mit den Armaturen aufmerksam gemacht. Wir hatten keine Zeit, um es zu ersetzen, bevor Sie ankamen. Wir haben Vorkehrungen für einen neuen Heizkörper getroffen, der so bald wie möglich eingebaut wird, und die Badezimmerarmaturen werden auch ersetzt.

Traumhafte Immobilie

Erstklassige Ausstattung, ruhige Lage. Absolut stressfreier Urlaub, leicht erreichbare Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Cafes in der Nähe, jedoch Mietauto ratsam. Bis auf nicht funktionierendes Wifi keine schlechten Erfahrungen. Dies kann entweder auf meine Unzulänglichkeit bezüglich Umgang mit Computern zurückzuführen sein, oder auf einen nicht funktionierenden Router. War aber auch kein Problem für uns. Ansonsten ein Urlaub wie aus dem Bilderbuch.

Na cozinha faltava vários utensílios, principalmente porque éramos 8 e os tachos eram pequenos para cozinhar para tanta gente.O forno e placa antigos. Muito pouca pressão no chuveiro para tomar banho. Não era possível 2 pessoas a tomar banho ao mesmo tempo.A casa é muito boa em termos de área, com muita luz natural e muito bem localizada.

Thank you for your feedback, it is always useful for us to highlight things that we can improve. We try to have a full range of utensils in the kitchen for our guests use. It is not always possible to supply everything but we will review when we go in. The oven and hob are not new but are clean and work correctly. We are planning to upgrade the kitchen. With regard the shower there have been problems in the village with the main water pressure recently but we will also check our meter to make sure it is okay.

Plutôt décevant La location était notée comme excellente (9.4)Cependant plusieurs choses indispensables ne figuraient pas dans le logement :-pas de parasol, que nous avons réclamé et il nous a été répondu qu’un parasol avait été acheté en mai ….. et alors ? Sommes nous responsables des désagréments éventuellement Causés par les précédents locataires ? - 4 transats pour la piscine alors que nous étions 6 , par ailleurs en mauvais état et sans matelas.Les transats ne correspondent pas à une note excellente - un seul petit saladier et impossible de faire une salade pour 6 - pas d’essoreuse à salade - micro-ondes rouillé à l’intérieur et inutilisable, qui nous a été changé cependant suite à notre demande - sèche serviette rouillé dans la salle de bains du rez de chaussée donc inutilisable - serviettes de bains salle - table de jardin en plastique que nous avons dû nettoyer avant de s’en servir - porte de douche de la salle de bains du premier difficile à ouvrir et fermer- pas de pression dans la douche - lavabo salle de bains du premier étage presque bouché - cuvette des Wc du premier sale Nous sommes donc déçus et nous ne conseillons pas cette location. Nous avons déjà loué a plusieurs reprises sur Abritel et c’est la première que nous tombons sur un tel logement Le classement comme logement excellent est donc mensonger Une note de 5 serait plus adéquat en fonction de la prestation fournie

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your stay. The rating on the accommodation is not something we influence other than by providing a level of service to our guests which is reflected in the ratings we have received over the previous years from those guests, hence our overall review rating of 9.4. At the start of the season we replace everything that we have been made aware of - that has either gone missing or has been damaged. There are variety of outside seating options available which accommodates the number of guests our villa can cater for including sunloungers, chairs and reclining chairs. We do not provide mattresses for the sunloungers, but is also not advertised as part of our offering. We were unaware the microwave was rusty, I believe it was a small section on the door but once notified, our manager replaced quickly. When it comes to kitchen equipment, we understand everyone has different needs. While we can't provide for every possible requirement, we offer a good range of items for meal preparation in our self-catering accommodation. The house is cleaned thoroughly before each rental and fresh towels and linen are provided, we are surprised to learn that you encountered these problems and we have raised the issue with our local manager. The problem with the water pressure in the shower is something we have no control over, there was an issue with the mains supply pressure locally and hopefully will be resolved soon. We value all feedback and continuously strive to maintain high standards for our guests. We are confident that our villa offers excellent value for money compared to others in the area, and we believe the positive reviews we've received over the years reflect our commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.

Casa perfeita

Minha família e eu passamos 7 dias de férias e o que posso dizer da casa? Dou 5 estrelas. Tal e qual as fotos e muito bem localizada. Tudo muito limpo. Recomendo muito e as dúvidas que tive foram respondidas prontamente.

Excellent villa in quiet area.

We had a very enjoyable two week stay. The villa is really bright and spacious and entirely suited our needs. The swimming pool is only a few steps from the front door. There are a couple of restaurants and mini-markets less than five minutes walk away. The walk down to the beach only takes 15-20 mins - depending on how hot it is! Foz do Arelho is very quiet but luckily we were travelling with family members so had plenty of in built entertainment!

Nice accommodation

Spacious apartment in a small town on the lagoon with a very safe feeling. Easy location for day trips in and around the Lisbon area.

Maison très agréable , spacieuse et claire, conforme à la description. Maison facile à trouver et parking sans problème. Très bon contact avec les propriétaires, de bons conseils , soucieux de notre bien être, et en plus ,le sourire et la gentillesse d'Alison , la personne sur place.
