You have full access to our 5 acre property.

This is a TWO bedroom, TWO full bath home. The primary bedroom has a King size bed with attached ensuite. The 2nd bedroom has two sets of twin size bunk beds. There is a fun loft that is accessible with a vertical ladder (use caution). The loft headroom is only about 4' high. The house is located on 5 acres in a neighborhood with homes spaciously set apart from another and very wooded.

You can explore the woods around the house on some trails, take an adventure in the neighborhood to The Lower Common area - a beautiful meadow with walking trails along the Rockfish River.

If there is inclement weather in the winter (snow or ice) you MUST have an AWD or 4WD vehicle to handle the driveway up to the home. While we do our best to keep the driveway plowed it is steep and you need to be prepared for this. There is about 1 mile of gravel road leading up to the house (not a major road) off of Route 151. This is a private road that is cleared when the neighborhood plow comes thru.

This property is located in a peaceful, eco-friendly neighborhood that protects wildlife and promotes a tranquil, quiet atmosphere. The area is best suited for nature lovers and those looking for a quiet getaway. Disruptive parties, amplified outdoor music, and excessive noise are not allowed. Guests are encouraged to enjoy all the natural sights and sounds the landscape provides!

The property is located in a neighborhood that has strict rules against disturbances to wildlife and other residents, as well as prohibitions on excessive noise and light. Bright exterior lights, disruptive parties, amplified outdoor music, and loud noises are not allowed. Sound travels far in the woods, so please be respectful of other residents in the neighborhood. Responsible use of the fire pit is permitted, but please use caution given the surrounding forest [if applicable]. Bears are common in the neighborhood, so please be sure to secure all outdoor trash, food, and other attractants.
Use of the firepit depends on local governance from the fire marshal. If you would like to have a fire during your stay during the dry season, please check with us! Thank you!
