The house was very nice and clean. The neighborhood was ok. The description said pet friendly and the picture I saw it had a small yard. But the yard is gone and there is not anywhere for a dog, you have to go the next street over to the basketball court to find grass. The showers could use grab bars for the floors in them are slippery and there is nothing to hang onto. And it is definitely not a place for someone who has disablities.

AVOID If you're looking for a comfortable stay

Being summer, immediately after booking, we contacted the mgmt co hosting this property for the owners to double-check that air conditioning was offered at this property. We were assured that the property had AC. Upon arrival, there was an old SUPER LOUD floor unit in each of the 3 bedrooms and a wall unit in the upstairs hallway. Immediately, and throughout the stay, we had nightmare issues with all of the AC units. The first bedroom, the AC kept flashing tank full and shutting off most of the time after 1 minute of running. We literally had to lug it down the hall and drain it in the tub over and over again, 5 times a day & night, since no drainage system was hooked up. In Bedroom 2, the AC exhaust had been bolted to the window, but the foam insulation blocked the exhaust of the hot air, so it just recycled over and over again, hot air constantly blowing back into the room. In Room 3, the AC would not even turn on. The mgmt co sent someone after multiple contact attempts over 36 hrs to fix the 3rd bedroom, but we were left to fend for ourselves all weekend with the other two A/C units and hot, uncomfortable sleeping. Mgmt co. offered a discount on future stay (thanks but no thanks), a less than market refund of 15% per night credit refund, and a 15 Dunkin gift card, which they added up and said between the gift card and discount on a future stay was worth us not getting sleep and fighting with the broken air conditioners. The place was clean otherwise, but AVOID!
AC kept flashing fluid full after only seconds of running kept having to drag it back and forth across the upstairs of the house and lift it over the tub to drain. Was super heavy and then needed to hook it up back to the window each time. 20+ times.
Foam insulation shoved behind a bolted on exhaust blowing hot air back into the room right next to the bed. Made the super loud AC run constantly and the head of the bed was 20 degrees warmer from the hot air blowing back from the lack of exhaust.
Only consistently working AC kept working with dirty filter and was not strong enough to cool the upstairs alone.

We take these concerns seriously and have resolved this issue by replacing units and having a plumber install proper drainage. Regarding your comments about compensation, we did our best to respond promptly by offering a partial refund as well as additional gestures to acknowledge the inconvenience. While we understand this did not meet your desired amount, we strive to handle every situation fairly and consistently for all guests. We also want to respectfully note that offering a more favorable review in exchange for increased compensation is not something we can ethically accommodate and is also against VRBO policy. We’re committed to transparency and maintaining trust with all our guests. We appreciate that you acknowledged the cleanliness of the property, and we do hope any future stays reflect the improvements we continue to make based on valuable feedback like yours.
