Close to ski resorts, Hot Tub, Pet Friendly!

Welcome to Cubs Cabin one block from the main lake and club house. This home is located in a gated community with access to five lakes perfect for swimming, fishing, paddle boating, or just relaxing in the sand. There are pools, tennis courts, basketball courts and playgrounds that you will have easy access to throughout your stay. If the mountains are more your thing, we’re a short distance from many ski resorts. Our home offers a combination of relaxation and endless entertainment.
Upon entering there is a large, open living area with high ceilings perfect for playing board games, reading books or catching up on your favorite TV series. We offer a fully functional kitchen with all the necessities from home to enjoy a wonderful meal. Both bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, perfect for sleeping in. There is a hot tub on the deck for guest use. The detached one car garage has been converted in to a game room with a pool table, ping pong, shuffle board, darts and ring toss! At this time the game room is not heated or air conditioned and is not useable in the cold winter months. As of December 1st the game room will be closed until spring. We are pet friendly but we do require notification if your dog will be accompanying you. Please let us know age, breed and temperament of the dog at the time of booking. If after your stay it is determined that the presence of your pup causes additional cleaning for excessive hair or if the waste is not cleaned from the yard we will bill through VRBO. Please note that while children are welcome our home is not “toddler proof”.

We are so excited you are considering our cozy, comfy lake cabin to spend your next vacation and we can’t wait to host you! Please keep in mind this is our home and we hope you will treat it like it’s your home while you stay with us. We have some rules that we want everyone to be aware of before deciding to stay with us! There is a very firm no smoking policy inside of the home. If the home smells of any kind of smoke, ashes or burn marks noted there will be a 500.00 dollar cleaning fee billed after check out plus any revenue lost from cancelled bookings.

While we love dogs and allow them in our home, please pick up after them and dispose in the outside trash cans. A 250 dollar pet cleaning fee will be billed after check out if there is excessive animal waste or the home must be cleaned extra to erase signs of your furry friend. Per community rules all dogs must be confined to a fence or leashed at all times. There’s a fence perfect for your dog in our backyard so they can enjoy their vacation too! But when they aren’t in the fenced area they must be leashes all times.

Please rinse off before entering the hot tub and be careful not to soil the hot tub with drinks or any other contaminants. If the hot tub requires cleaning outside of what is reasonably expected after your stay a 250 dollar fee will be billed. There is a septic system in place so it’s extremely important that only toilet paperis flushed down the toilet. Please do not flush anything besides bodily waste and toilet paper. Everything else must be thrown in the trash. Please do not dump any grease down the drains. Bleach can never be used! If it’s found that inappropriate items have been flushed or washed down the drain the guest will be responsible for the cost of the repairs to return the system back to its functional state prior to your arrival.

The neighbors to the right if you’re looking at the property from the street have two dogs that are confined by an electric fence. They do bark on occasion but they are not aggressive and they can’t leave their yard.
