Check-in process was easy. Beds were comfortable, other than the bunk beds. Bunk beds move a lot if someone moves in bed. Everything was clean, but we did notice a lot of bugs. Would stay here again, great location!

Not a bad stay

Not a bad house by any means. Overall it was sufficently clean and inviting. The neighborhood and outside leave a bit to be desired but it was decently safe. We did find some stuff left over from a previous occupant. All in all, would stay again.

Some safety concerns

Smoke detectors didn’t work, poor stove ventilation, one of the bunk beds had an improperly secured ladder, possible electrical issues as two of us got shocks from appliances. Minor nuisances is that the yard was unkempt and there was no ice maker or ice trays. AC and fans worked very well, which was much appreciated.

Booked this house for a bachelorette party for my sister. Check in was scheduled for 3pm, I messaged the owner at 2 for the instructions on check in to be told that the cleaners wouldn’t be done until 5:30. We already had planned for the party to meet at the house at 4:30. So we all arrived to find the pile of bedding and towels in the middle of the house, bathrooms not clean. When the cleaners did show up, it was already after 4:30 and all of our guests were there. We had set up the food in the kitchen so the kitchen did not get cleaned. I felt so sad for my sister that her bachelorette party started in a dirty house. Messaged the owner after check out to ask about a discount or partial refund and got no response.

Our family of 5 stayed for four days. It was welcoming, lots of seating (see pic) clean bedrooms and bathrooms, great backyard (see pic). The heating and AC were nice systems. Our concerns: there were no instructions on how to use fans (the fans were set on very high and dangerously close to top of bunk beds). Also, instructions are needed for the dishwasher, TV, and fireplace. We were unsure of which remotes worked for which area. There were no dishwasher pods, drying rack, and linens for the kitchen. When reaching out about pods, was told to hand wash and set aside dishes (no ability to do so because there were no supplies). Starting the dishwasher took time because it required finding and turning on a switch. Outside trash bins were overflowing (see pic), so it was difficult to add our small amount of trash. When I reached out with this concern, I was only given check out instructions. Overall, slow response from owner. Kitchen supplies and usage instructions for electronics (tv, fireplace, dishwasher, fans) in the house is very much needed.

Please note we provide all guest with a full list of instructions and are always happy to answer all inquiries as our guest reach out and communicate, we respond as quickly as possible typically under a hour as was the case during your stay! Please also kindly note we are more than happy to provide extra supplies, when you communicated there was no dish pods we advised there should be extra in the storage closet or under the sink but not to worry as you were leaving the next day and the turnover service would take care of all dishes as a courtesy. Lastly we do provide an extensive, comprehensive list of kitchen supplies, if you ever have trouble locating we recommend reaching out for future stays!

The listing photos were appealing, but the actual condition fell short of expectations. Upon checking in, we identified multiple maintenance issues requiring immediate attention. The property lacked trash liners, and the outdoor waste container was overflowing with bags. The front-load washing machine displayed mold growth, the refrigerator was grimy, and the dishwasher contained unwashed dishes from previous occupants. The bathroom presented additional concerns: mold covered the shower curtain, and a towel hanging there appeared to have residual hair. The master bedroom pillows were inadequate—extremely thin and misshapen. An active wasp nest was located near the front entrance. Additionally, towels left in the dryer from the previous guest remained uncleaned.Given the circumstances of our visit—we were in town for a funeral and needed only sleeping accommodations—we did not pursue alternative arrangements. However, the property's poor condition reflects insufficient maintenance and upkeep. We cannot recommend this rental without significant improvements to cleaning and maintenance standards.

The house was not clean when i arrived. it took a while to get in contact with the host and the cleaner arrived 40 minutes before the remaining guests arrived. After that, it was a pleasant stay and a nice house for a decent price.

Rooms clean and comfortable beds . Clean property. After 6:30 pm trees provide great shade to enjoy sitting in back patio enjoying snacks and drinks . Kitchen has gas stove cooks great. Large fridge. Access was easy. Host communicated timely. Property has been styled and looks nice enough. However the majority of all supplies and materials are low quality (dishes, cutlery, utensils, linens, pillows, furniture, mattresses, very small 2 in 1 bath soap/shampoo). Beds are uncomfortable. The kitchen was not well stocked (largest pot was probably 2 quarts and missing a handle; no basic baking pan or glass square or rectangle dish). The dish washer was finicky. The property description indicated coffee machine and grinder, but there was only a basic Keurig machine onsite (no Kcups provided). No clear instructions regarding trash are provided. Observed recycle bin containing last guests’ trash and covered in maggots. The back yard has wasps and debris scattered about. The back yard fencing was incomplete and propped up in at least one place. As with many properties in Texas, apparent foundation issues mean that certain doors can get jammed or close loudly. The internal door leading to the garage, where laundry facilities are located, must be kept ajar or it will become jammed shut in the heat of the day and can only be pulled open once temperature drops. Host indicated they would “repair” the doors after we check out. The property also has a noticeable pest population (No roaches, but flies, beetles and some spiders). Location is convenient. Would not recommend staying more than 2 nights due to kitchen/bed/linen quality. Main living room is a nice gathering space.
