Coziest place on the island! 2br 1.5ba & 1.5 blocks from the beach!

Best spot on the island for a couple, a few friends, or family of 3-4. Freshly remodeled with new paint, blinds, beds, couch, tech, dishwasher, kitchen table and chairs, porch sectional, and more!

Park in your reserved spot and you'll walk past the outdoor shower and hose and into the back of the home. Once inside the master bedroom you'll notice the new queen bed, new storage cabinets on the wall and wicker drawers under the bed, new washer and dryer, window AC, and master half bath with new fixtures. There aren't many 2br homes available on the island, and of those, nearly all have only 1 bath. This additional half bath is a game changer, and makes a stay so much more enjoyable.

The kitchen is complete with flat top range, new Bosch dishwasher, new pots/pans/silverware/plates/knives/utensils, and new table and chairs. The Wi-Fi repeater ensures you'll have a strong connection throughout the home. The stainless fridge is just a year or two old and easily holds all you'll need to stay full and refreshed during your stay.

The full bath with 42" stall shower and new vanity, mirror, and fixtures.

The second bedroom is ideally suited for two kids with brand new custom bunk beds with huge drawers underneath and brand new twin mattresses. The window AC will keep them cool at night, or if they're waiting out a rainy day with the brand new TV - which includes a Roku stick, Switch Dock, and USB power supply, all housed in brand new custom cabinetry that closes quickly to hide the evidence of a late night of gaming or movies.

The Living Room has a super comfy settee across from a brand new couch, new TV, new Xfinity broadband router, USB charging station, coat/purse hooks, window AC, and ceiling fan.

In the front of the house is an extremely cozy porch with brand new outdoor sectional and rug, folding drink tables, and the seclusion of custom railings topped with flower-filled planters.

The best part? You're close to EVERYTHING! From the porch, you can actually SEE Churn House (ice cream, 1/2 block), Randazzo's (takeout/eat-in Italian food, 1/2 block), The Grubb (new for 2025, extended hours diner food, 1/2 block), Sandcastle Putt Putt (new in 2024, minigolf with tons of water features and treats to eat, 1/2 block), Sandcastle Park (with play sets for big kids and little kids, 1/2 block), basketball courts and tennis courts (1 block). If the ocean is calling you, just head to the end of the block, and it's 1.5 blocks away. About a 3 minute walk, short enough that our kids don't bother with flops or sandals. And at 34th street, there's a long/wide plastic runway from the street, making it even easier to get a wagon onto the beach. BYO or use ours. We also have 4 beach tags to lend during your stay so you're all set!

And all of that is just what's in front of the house; behind there's even more. Right across the alley is Johnny B. Goode (ice cream, incredible, 1/2 block) and Hoy's (has everything you forgot, plus stuff you didn't know you needed, 1/2 block). And just beyond that are Wawa (1.5 blocks), CVS (2 blocks), and Acme (3 blocks).

Please bring your own linens (sheets and towels). The beds have duvets with covers and pillows (feel free to bring your own of course if you're more comfortable).

We have loved Ocean City for more than 30 years, first came with our parents, and have been vacationing here with our children for the past 13 years. The island is a cornerstone of our family, our traditions, and our happiness. We are delighted to be able to have a tiny place of our own to enjoy, and feel privileged to be able to share it with your family.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

In decades of 1/2/3 week rentals, day trips, and long weekends we have experienced virtually every part of the island. We've enjoyed the buzz and livelihood of boardwalk stays, the solitude of the south end, watersports on the bay, and big-family luxurious beachfront stays in 7br 5ba estates complete with elevators and private beach access.

For the past 10 years or so we've honed in on this area, which some call Peck Beach and others call the Gold Coast. We love it because it has everything we need, all without moving your car from the reserved spot included with your stay.
- Sandcastle Playground, where there are two separate playsets for big kids and little kids
- Tennis and basketball for older kids and friends
- Obviously the beach: just grab the wagon (we include one for your convenience) and in just 250 steps your feet are on the sand. 34th has bathrooms, a long handicap-accessible path with railings, and is a substation for guards. 33rd is just as close and a little bit quieter and offers the amenities of unguarded ocean for surfing or launching a kayak
- Wide beaches with plenty of room for kids to spread out, unlike the crowded north end. Of course we provide use of our four seasonal tags with your stay.
- Great food (Randazzo's is an institution, The Grubb is new), treats (Churn House at the end of the block, Johnny B. Goode just behind the house and across the alley), activities (Sandcastle Putt Putt), and essentials (have you even gone to OC if you didn't stop in at Hoy's?) all within a block or less. Wawa, CVS, Dot's Donuts (!!!) and Acme are all walkable as well, at just 2-3 blocks.
- The best surf shop on the island, Surfers Supplies, 2.5 blocks north at 31st/Asbury.
- When you want to go to the boardwalk, there's no need to worry about where you'll park when you get back - dedicated parking is included right outside the back door.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

It's our opinion that the location is the best on the island for families because of the ease of access to everything. But with respect to our home, we made some specific choices with our family in mind, that we hope will suit you as well.

Lots of hosts do everything they can to increase the maximum number of people staying over (also increasing the maximum $ they can charge per stay), but not every family has 8, 10, or 12+ folks who can take the same time and contribute to a vacation together. We've done lots of those vacations and they're great. But the best times we've had have been the more intimate ones where it's just been our immediate family, or maybe one of our children has brought a close friend.

So when we found a place in the perfect location, which didn't carry a 3br rental price but DID still have two bathrooms, we jumped on it. And we've made it ours because we spend a lot of time here too. In the past 6 months we've added:
- new queen bed frame and mattress in master bed
- custom bunk bed, mattresses, and media cabinet in second bedroom.
- new bathroom fixtures and hardware in both baths
- new TVs in second bedroom and living room
- new couch in living room
- new outdoor sectional on porch
- new paint, rugs, blinds, and door hardware throughout
- new table, chairs, and Bosch dishwasher in kitchen
- baseline tech throughout (lots of places to charge devices, common cables provided, Apple HomePod minis to play music in kitchen and living room, Switch dock in second bedroom, Roku sticks in living room and second bedroom, hi-speed internet WITH REPEATER so it works in the back bedroom as well, and more)

We've created what we feel is the ideal space for a couple or small family to spend time and create memories at the beach, and hope you enjoy the place as much as we do.
