This was the perfect stay to relax in after our wedding weekend! It was super close to Chattooga Belle Farm so it made coming home after the wedding super easy and convenient. The Hosts were super helpful prior to our stay answering questions and even allowed us an early check in! I would highly recommend this stay if you’re attending a wedding at the farm, wanting a nice summer lake house get away or just some peace and quiet! We loved using the canoe for a romantic lake picnic and the hot tub was a great way to unwind from wedding stress!

Gorgeous lake front cabin with beautiful views of the still Horseshoe Lake and evening stargazing from the hot tub. This cabin is absolutely beautiful inside and outside. We loved this cabin and location! The cabin is outfitted with anything and everything a family would need to stay, cook and have a great time. The location is gorgeous and very peaceful. The weather was amazingly perfect while we were there and it was a nice break from the scorching heat in FL. We stay in a lot of vacation rentals and this is one of the best!

Delightful cabin on horseshoe lake

This cabin was perfect for our family of 5. We enjoyed the selection of games and movies inside and the kayak and hot tub outside. We explored area waterfalls during the day and relaxed in the evenings. The place was spotless and had a fully stocked kitchen. Even the porch outside and water toys underneath were notably clean and well cared for. Bedding was comfortable. Open living area downstairs was great. Enough seating at the table for games. Easy to check in and out and prompt communication from the hosts. We absolutely loved staying here and also enjoyed the recommendations for Brasstown BBQ and Humble Pie (a favorite) for two dinners. This place is also very close to Chatooga Belle Farm, Chatooga rafting, and Brasstown waterfalls. Pictures are very accurate of the place. Highly recommend. The hosts thought to take care of so many small details to make it welcoming.

Such a great location! Our boys have been begging to come back to fish this lake again, and they caught even more this time! Loved going out on canoe, SUPs and kayaks! Cabin is absolutely perfect, has everything you need, very well-organized and super clean 😀 The deck with all outdoor seating is my favorite!

Short trip to the upstate

My teenage granddaughter and I chose to stay in Long Creek because she fondly remembered lunch at Chattooga Belle Bistro many summers ago and the amazing views at the orchard. We wanted to be close to the mountains, as well as to Clemson, where she had a meeting scheduled. I searched for 2 bedrooms in Long Creek and this property seemed to meet my criteria. Wow, did it ever meet them !!! It surpassed my expectations, wowed my granddaughter with its setting, amenities, and cleanliness, and, really impressed me with the attention to detail that was in full evidence. My first time as a VRBO guest but not my last
..at least at this property ! We loved our stay.

Wanted to give 5 stars

Wanted to give 5 stars, but had to take off a star because the primary bath had a clogged/very slow to drain sink and shower/tub. I'm sure that property owners would have fixed them immediately if we had brought it to their attention, but we were there for our son's wedding and simply didn't have time to contact them. Otherwise, the cabin was beautiful and as described, and the property owners were very responsive and accommodating. One other note- we had to give up the primary bedroom to our 87 yo mother because they do not have a pull out sofa and we didn't want to have her climb the stairs to the loft. A little disappointing, but we managed. Wished we had more time to enjoy the cabin, but it is the perfect location for a Chattooga Belle Farm wedding!! Thanks for renting to us!

We love the Upstate SC and have lived here for over 40 years. We are active in the community, enjoy rafting and kayaking on the Wild and Scenic Chattooga River. Hiking to the numerous waterfalls is one of our favorite pastimes. Our favorite dinner spots are in the nearby town of Clayton, GA, just a 15 minute drive.
We love gardening and have enjoyed planting trees and flowers around this lakeside home.

Nearby accomodation for wedding parties; only three minutes from Chattooga Belle Farm, and whitewater rafting at Wildwater.
